  • Jed was a passenger aboard Ajira Airways Flight 316 from Los Angeles to Guam. Following the crash of Ajira 316 on the Hydra island, Jed was the first to inform pilot Frank Lapidus that Ilana and a few other passengers had found a weapons cache and were beginning to take control of the stranded group. Lapidus, who had just returned to the Hydra island from a trip to the main island, then went off to confront Ilana about this fact. (Dead is Dead)
