- Babe is a young pig who gets separated from his family and ends up into Hoggett farm owned by Farmer Arthur Hoggett and his wife Esme Hoggett. He is prejudiced by many animals (who simply call him "pig") but unlike them, Babe is very friendly and polite to about anyone he meets. Because of his kindness, he gets many of the animals to warm up to him. He becomes Fly (a female sheep dog)'s adoptive son, and also the sheep's friend.
