| - A shot of the full moon pans down into an empty dark, forest. Three men are running at high speeds through the forest followed by a pack of horse-sized wolves. The chase continues through several panels and it finally comes to an end where the three men come toward a cliff. They turn around revealing their black eyes and sharp fangs, hissing at the wolves. The wolves approach the men growling before the two parties lunge at each other. In the next panel, two teenage boys are in a house watching a movie. BOY #1: Man, so bad but so good. BOY #2: Heh, you know it. You going to Justin’s party Friday? BOY #1: Wasn’t invited. BOY #2: Oh, come on, Seff. He practically invited the whole school. SEFF SHEPARD: Yeah, I’m just...not big on parties. BOY #2: Come onnnnnn, it’s our first party and who knows we might even hook up with some girls. SEFF SHEPARD: We’re geeks, Rex. We spend our weekends playing Halo and Destiny. REX JACKSON: But, buuuut they’ll be drunk. SEFF SHEPARD: That’s...even more wrong. REX JACKSON: But we’ll be drunk too. SEFF SHEPARD: Correction; YOU will be drunk. REX JACKSON: Just, come onnnnn. SEFF SHEPARD: Fine, fine. Damn. REX JACKSON: YES! The Emerald-Eyed Cherokee and the Freckled Caucasian hit the town! SEFF SHEPARD: This is why girls won’t talk to us. SEFF SHEPARD: You checked out the—the... Seff spots a female guitarist and is in awe of her. REX JACKSON: Heh! You’ve had a crush on Millie since kindergarten. SEFF SHEPARD: *sigh* Yeah... REX JACKSON: I recommend you ask her out. SEFF SHEPARD: Pfft sure, I should ask Principle White to give me all As for the rest of the year while I’m at it. REX JACKSON: You’re funny. SEFF SHEPARD: I try. A car then zooms beside the two. REX JACKSON: Holy hell! And then two pale individuals exit the car. JOHNNY TEPES: Watch the paint job, Shepard! REX JACKSON: Or you could, you know, drive like a normal person and not park so close to us where we are standing! JOHNNY TEPES: Watch it, Jackson. That mouth’s likely to get you hurt. Johnny and his girlfriend proceed to walk away. SEFF SHEPARD: What an asshole. Later on, Seff and Rex are in the lunch hall. On his phone, Seff reads the news out loud. SEFF SHEPARD: “Three men found dead at waterfall this morning, suspected serial killer on the loose”, holy crap. REX JACKSON: Man, these killings are getting out of hand. SEFF SHEPARD: You scared? REX JACKSON: Hell no...maybe...yes. My preferable life choice is not to be murdered by some raging psychopath...or sociopath, whatever the two are. SEFF SHEPARD: Ha! REX JACKSON: Whatever. SEFF SHEPARD: What’re you doing later? REX JACKSON: Umm...nothing really, want to stop at mine for the night? SEFF SHEPARD: Yeah, man sure. Plus I have to pick up that DVD I lent you last week. Seff exits Rex’s house. Seff looks up into Rex’s window and wave’s goodbye with Rex doing the same. Seff checks his phone and sees the time. SEFF SHEPARD: Crap, Mom’s gonna kill me. I should probably cut through the forest, it’s quicker...and I’m talking to myself. Seff enters the forest, as he strolls through it he begins getting anxious. He suddenly hears a rustle in the bushes next to him, he stops and looks over and begins walking faster. Suddenly a woman lunges at Seff and pins him to the ground, her eyes black and her fangs as sharp as daggers, she begins to hiss at him. SEFF SHEPARD: OH MY GOD?! WHA—WHAT ARE YOU?! FANGED WOMAN: You smell...delicious. SEFF SHEPARD: Wha-wha?! As the fanged woman is about to consume Seff she smells something in the distance and begins sniffing. FANGED WOMAN: What do you want, Dog?! A large black wolf with a scarred right eye emerges from the bushes and begins growling at the Fanged Woman. She hisses and picks up Seff using him as a human shield of sorts. FANGED WOMAN: I’ll kill him! I swear it! Back. Off. The large black wolf continues growling at her and lunges at her, taking her off of her feet but also accidentally scratches Seff’s back with his back legs as he tackles the Fanged Woman. Seff lets out a shriek of pain before falling to the ground unconscious; the black wolf mauls the Fanged Woman and kills her. The black wolf approaches an unconscious Seff and shows an expression of remorse. The black wolf picks Seff up by the collar with its teeth and exits the forest and places him at a random doorstep and flees into the forest.
