Some of her closest allies in the Senate were Camilla Strom, Lille Lykke, Emile Torp, Paulette Haik, Marie-Noëlle Reims, Annamária Áts, Justyna Sokołowski, Nathalie Nyström, Martine Hollande, Thereza Ishii, and Cynthia deLessep-Irons. On February 1, 2671, Baltusians went to the polls. Ella Tähti announced that she would not be running for Praetor and would instead be endorsing Katherine Evrony. Evrony lost on the runoff claiming only 43% of the vote. However, the Baltusian Labour Party won 6 more Senate seats and claimed the Lindar Valley governorship. It was the party's best election result since the election ten years before, on February 1, 2661. In 2672, Betty Knipe Blackwell died at the age of 59. Cynthia deLessep-Irons was elected as her replacement. In the February 2673 elections, the Labour Party gained six seats and retained the Lindar Valley governorship. Tähti was also instrumental in getting the Labour party back into the cabinet. In the February 2675 elections, Tähti was defeated in her bid for Praetor. Tähti claimed 37.62% of the vote. The incumbent Praetor won 54.44%. Despite her 17% defeat, Tähti was proud of how the Labour Coalition performed in the elections. In 2676, she was defeated in a leadership vote by Zev Krisiloff.
