- Guide is a character appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009: Stardust Accelerator. He shares his physiognomy with few other characters, of which most live in the City. Guide resembles the rude, more oppressive type of opponent, which you can find in his dueling messages.
- The Guide is the first NPC that the player will encounter in any given world. Unlike other NPCs, he does not need a house, but will move into the first one built, which will often be yours, or the first house you have explored; floating islands or the underground houses in giant trees. If the Guide dies before a house is built, he will not respawn until there is a suitable house in the world. Occasionally, the Guide will walk off cliffs or directly into caves without looking. Like other NPCs, he does not suffer any fall damage when that happens.

- Thom "Guide" Barrowman is a gifted brawler, best known as one half of The New Wave, alongside Scout. While his partner provides scientific excellence, Guide brings an intense brawling style into the mix, using his phenomenal athletic gifts to turn his own body into a weapon of destruction. Many think that Guide could be an enormous singles star somewhere down the line. The duo were one of the most utterly dominant tag teams in DAVE history, winning the tag team titles on a record-breaking four occasions (they were also the last team to hold the titles), and after the company's bankruptcy they were swiftly picked up by Total Championship Wrestling, who had long been admirers of them.

- Your currently in Seizewell - capital world of the Teladi (note the Ship Yard). First find a solar power plant that has plenty of stock (these will sell them the cheapest), try going south from here to Greater Profit as its a good site for building your plants, and there is a few solar plants. Now buy as many as you can and travel to somewhere that uses only energy cells, a mine for example. I did this until I had doubled my money and then went and bought a SETA device, because I was getting fed up of travelling as if i was in a zimmer frame through the system. Using the SETA unit will allow you to speed up the travelling distance (which is off putting). Continue to do this or similar runs (involving the buying and selling of energy cells) until you have enough money to fill your cargo hol
