Jerry Holden is a former NASCAR driver from Springfield, MO. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Holden's debut in 1986, when he competed a Dover. Starting last (37th) in the field, Holden only completed a fifth of the race before a brake issue left him in 30th. Holden's other two races would come in 1987, starting the year off at Rockingham. It was a tough race for Holden, starting 39th and finishing last (42nd) after an early engine failure. Engine issues would also take Holden out of the race at Talladega, but his 28th place finish was a career-best.
