The Thesians were an ancient people who had a deep love of labyrinths, which went so far that even their streets were considered to be giant puzzles to be solved for everyday use. This love was also reflected in their intricate tattoo designs, which survived into Albion's Age of Enlightenment. It was said that the tattoos represented the enigma of the human soul that dwells beneath the skin. They died out mysteriously, but face and body tattoos of their design could still be purchased at Needles of Death in Bloodstone in Fable II.
