A. C. Shanmughadas (1939 – June 27, 2013) was an Indian politician. Born to Kunhiraman and Sarada Shanmughadas in 1939, Shanmughadas had participated in the Goa liberation movement. He was an active member of the student's wing of the Congress. He was the DCC secretary in Malappuram and Kozhikode. He stayed with the LDF when a faction led by K Muraleedharan left the front after a brief stint. On June 27, 2013, Shanmughadas died of a cardiac arrest at the age of 74. Shanmughadas is survived by wife K Parukutty and two daughters.
