- This page contains an overview of books related to the Alexander Technique. The links from the titles point to reviews of the books (if available). Feel free to add titles and reviews yourself. Please remember that you can not learn the Alexander Technique by merely reading about it. Learning by doing (or rather, by undoing) will advance you in the work, yet some books will foster an understanding of your experiences of the unknown.

- Horatio Hornblower was created by author C. S. Forester, who wrote 11 books about the character between 1937 and 1967. Hornblower is iconic in Age of Sail traditional naval fiction. There are many parallels between Hornblower and real naval officers of the period, especially Thomas Cochrane and Horatio Nelson. The name "Horatio" was inspired by the character in William Shakespeare's Hamlet and chosen also because of its association with contemporary figures such as Nelson. Bryan Perrett argues in The Real Hornblower: The Life and Times of Admiral Sir James Gordon, GCB (1998) that Gordon was the inspiration for Hornblower.

- When Marvin and Wendy told the Super Friends all of the Encyclopedias went missing from the library, Robin mockingly says: "Holy bibliography, all of the encyclopedias were gone!" Superman tells them it was simple robbery, which is something more suited to the interests of the police, and not worth the Justice League's time to investigate.
