Tel Agua was the ecumenopolis capital of the Dromada Authority and the seat of culture in the whole Dromada Galaxy. It was where the Dromada Senate was located and was believed to be the origin of Dromadan humans. It was also the birthplace of Cholquek Et'nat'al, the famed Dromadan explorer. Though the planet housed 1.5 trillion residents, Tel Aguans did not complain of overcrowding, chiefly because of their pacific nature. The planet was also very large, and, thanks to excellent population control build planning, population density was kept at a near-minimum.

abstract
  • Tel Agua was the ecumenopolis capital of the Dromada Authority and the seat of culture in the whole Dromada Galaxy. Tel Agua's origins as a seat of culture were long before written history. Tel Aguan humans became the main powerhouse of the Dromada galaxy, and they remained that way for what was believed to be many millions of years. The Dromada Authority was established as Tel Agua took galactic control and peacefully expanded throughout the galaxy, as speedy hyperdrive technology developed. As the Dromada Authority expanded, the more peaceful of planets and species were allowed entrance into the Authority. The Dromada Authority allowed planets and civilizations time to choose if they wanted to become member states, but warlike and disagreeable species and planets were brutally destroyed, a bit of Dromadan history that was all but erased. After the Dromada Authority took thousands of years to have the whole galaxy under its grasp, a chemical was discovered on a number of planets on the fringes of the galaxy which enabled its human and alien recipients to be able to live forever, with their youthful or younger adult appearance retained. This chemical was copied in laboratories but was extremely expensive to make; natural sources quickly ran out, and the price of the chemical skyrocketed. This slowed down overpopulation of Tel Agua and other core Dromada systems, and only the richest could afford this chemical. It was known to stop working eventually; some also tired of their long lives and allowed themselves to die. The oldest denizen of Dromadan civilization lived to be some 87,000 years old. Tel Agua prospered under its human-based republic rule, and it warmly welcomed alien species. The Dromada Authority closely knit together a galaxy under the watchful eye of Tel Agua, and the planet and the galaxy prospered for many millions of years.
