Sergeant Major Alastair Lachlan Calhoun (service number 94813-026117-AC) also known by his nickname "Bad Wolf", was a Marine and Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of Scottish heritage in service of the United Nations Space Command. He served as the field commander of the 23rd Shock Trooper Platoon during the Fall of Reach and the Loss of Hope, as well as the subsequent Battle of the Zenith Complex. Later he would be promoted to Colonel, and, later on still, General, making him one of the only know ODSTs to attain that rank.

| - Sergeant Major Alastair Lachlan Calhoun (service number 94813-026117-AC) also known by his nickname "Bad Wolf", was a Marine and Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of Scottish heritage in service of the United Nations Space Command. He served as the field commander of the 23rd Shock Trooper Platoon during the Fall of Reach and the Loss of Hope, as well as the subsequent Battle of the Zenith Complex. He became close compatriots to the SPARTAN-II's of Bronze Team during the Loss of Hope, and was instrumental in the formation of Task Force SPARTAN during the Battle of Earth. He was a key player in the final, definitive battle of the Human-Covenant War, the Battle of Sydney, and earned a promotion to Sergeant Major for his bravery in the war, as well as the Colonial Cross. Later he would be promoted to Colonel, and, later on still, General, making him one of the only know ODSTs to attain that rank. He was related to the McCrimmon family; Captain Malcolm McCrimmon was his cousin (and best friend), and he was also related to Colonel James McCrimmon (Malcolm's uncle.)
