Rene Ronald Chapdelaine (born September 27, 1966) is a former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the eighth round, 149th overall, in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. He played 32 National Hockey League games with the Kings over three seasons. He played Tier II Junior "A" hockey for the Weyburn Red Wings from 1983 to 1985 and won the Centennial Cup in 1984. He then played college hockey with the Lake Superior Lakers from 1985 to 1989. The Lakers won the NCAA Frozen Four national championship in 1987-88.
