The Demon King and the Goddess is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player controls Ganondorf, and must defeat a team of Link and Zelda. After either defeating the two or reaching the stage's Goddess Statue, a giant Palutena appears, and defeating all three will complete the event. The stage will always move from the top of the light tower, to the base of the light tower, then to the Goddess statue. Once the stage reaches the Goddess statue, it no longer moves and the remainder of the match will be fought there.
