- "Maester Lucas is too valuable to be used as bait, don't you agree?"
- "I wonder - might not the best way to catch a thief be to use a thief's tricks."
- "We are agreed. If Ser Hugo makes a big production of searching the town publicly, I can have my people watch to see where the rats scurry off to."
- "A trap is not the only way to be clever about this, I think. Rona?"
- "Undoubtedly," she says with a small smile. "We will find this fool of a thief without traps. He was fool enough to not wait until the maester left."
