Synopsis
  • Superman and Orion discover on Thanagar that the aspect has essentially mind-controlled the entire population to serve as a belligerent force against invaders and reluctantly fight them. Lightray and Starfire on Rann seek out Adam Strange and discover the population in the grips of madness though Adam is unaffected. Adam deduces the aspect is located at a giant fully-automated manufacturing plant which the aspect has used to create a doomsday bomb. The trio split up to find the aspect but Adam is taken down. On Earth, Batman has analyzed the other’s findings and deduced the aspect would use Earth’s computer network in its bid to destroy Earth and discovers a lot of exotic machinery ordered/shipped to Arizona. GL and Martian Manhunter on Xanshi discover a plague, which they help cure, which has reduced the population's usage of power allowing the planet's weather control equipment to use 10 times the normal amount. After being assaulted with manufactured weather, GL traps Martian Manhunter in a protective bubble thinking it’s too dangerous for him to proceed. GL finds the doomsday bomb only to discover it has been painted yellow. Helpless, GL watches the bomb explode and Xanshi is destroyed. On New Genesis Jason Blood and the Demon merge restoring Etrigan's full power.
