Synopsis
| - A drugged Bruce Wayne finds himself locked into an office with Hugo Strange, who believes Bruce is the Batman. Strange pulls a gun on Wayne and Wayne starts a fire to block the shot and force Strange to open the office's door. Wayne flees through the building with Strange in pursuit. Suddenly Batman appears and leads Strange to the roof. Richard Grayson and Tim Drake watch the rooftop fight from the street. Atop the roof, Batman remotely controls the Batmobile to come pick him up at the bottom of the building. He drives off in the Batmobile, which promptly explodes. Dick Grayson rushes to the roof to find it empty.
- In the second story, set in 1943, Gotham City is in the midst of a blackout. Batman foils a burglary by Catwoman and the two team up against the Nazis.
