| - Toyotomi Hideyoshi (豊臣 秀吉 Toyotomi Hideyoshi) is one of the 100 historical figure spirits who resides in the Village of Heroes.
- Toyotomi Hideyoshi was a Japanese military figure and politician who lived in the 16th century in the time known as the Sengoku period. Hikaru Sulu once read a history of Hideyoshi's invasion of Korea. Sulu had identified an ancestor who might have participated in the military action. (TOS novel: Allegiance in Exile)
- Toyotomi Hideyoshi, The Bald Rat or Hiyoshimaru Cahill is the son of Thomas Cahill. He became the Emperor of Japan, and is also a Tomas. He hid the Clue, Gold, as seen in 'The Sword Thief.' He also commanded that no one could have a sword, because he rose from the streets and he believed that someone might do that also and overthrow him. It is rumored that he melted the swords to make a statue of Buddha. His first wife was named Nene. With his second wife, Yodo-dono he had 2 children, resulting in a total of 5 grandchildren which would have "kick-started" the Tomas generations quite nicely.

- Toyotomi "the Monkey" Hideyoshi (Japanese: 豊臣 秀吉) (February 2, 1536 or March 26, 1537 – September 18, 1598) , known as Tommy to friends, was a Japanese Warlord, who managed to rule his country, but finally got loco. Toyotomi was an excellent samurai and a kind ruler, but with a humble past.
- The second of the unifying warlords of Japan and a prime example of Rags to Riches. Born Kinoshita Tokichiro, he starts his career by being a sandal-bearer of Oda Nobunaga. He eventually gets drafted into Nobunaga's army, changed his name to 'Hashiba Hideyoshi' (taken from two of Nobunaga's retainer names: Shibata Katsuie and Niwa Nagahide) and his resourcefulness becomes an asset to the army. When Nobunaga was murdered, Hideyoshi got to his killer Akechi Mitsuhide first within 13 days and annihilated his army. From that point on, Hideyoshi continued Nobunaga's conquest and succeeded in unifying Japan. He changed his name to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and became known as the Taiko (since he was of lower class stock, he could not become Shogun). As if that wasn't enough, shortly after unifying Jap
- In this Japanese name, the family name is Toyotomi (豊臣). Toyotomi Hideyoshi (豊臣 秀吉) was one of the Three Great Unifiers of Japan. He plays a small role in the Soul series, mostly the story about stages.
