| - Magma Cubes are red cubes with yellow and red eyes from The Nether. Like Slimes, they come in Big, Small, and Tiny, and they split when killed. __TOC__
- Magma cubes are strange jumping creatures that are made of magma and inhabit the Nether. If a large magma cube is killed, it will spilt into two medium sized Magma cubes and if one of them is killed it will split into four small Magma cubes.
- Magma Cubes do not require a special technique to kill. Just avoid their jumps and hit them. Since they do not have ranged attacks, the Bow is not needed and a sword is the best weapon against them so long as it has a better power than a Bow. At the Nether point of the game, it's not too overboard to assume you have a diamond sword, which inflicts 3.5 hearts damage. If a Magma Cube falls into lava, it will not burn, but will be unable to get out, similarly to Slimes in water. This can be used to trap them and kill them easier.
- Magma Cubes, also known as Fire Slimes, are hostile mobs found in the Nether that were added in 1.9 Beta. They are more commonly found near Nether Fortresses in the Nether. When they move, they jump and momentarily unravel into eight layers giving them the appearance of a spring while revealing a molten core inside.

When they move, they jump up and momentarily unravel into eight layers, giving them the appearance of a spring and revealing a molten core inside. An unique ability to these creatures is they don't drown in lava, but they can in water.
- Magma Cubes (AKA Nether Slimes/Lava Slimes) are Hostile Mobs that were added in Update 0.11.0. They spawn in the Nether as of Update 0.12.1. They are the Nether equivalent of Slimes.
