Hoopenists are the followers of Jan Hoopen within the Reformed Political Party. Jan Hoopens power base was within the province of Uwakah, particularly amongst Episcopalians. Outside of the province Hoopenists were few in number, and held little power within the RPP. Even within Uwakah there was strong opposition to the Hoopenists within the party, although this was largely silenced after the Kirlawan-Dorvish Border War, as Hoopenists were brought into power with the Dorvish-Uwakah state. Pro-Dorvish Hoopenists also became more prominent in other sections of the RPP.
