The Sea of Flames was a small sea that separated the continents of Keshtah Minor and Alanciar on the planet Kesh. In 2975 BBY, the Lost Tribe of Sith planned an expeditionary mission to Alanciar which involved returning to Keshtah by flying over the Sea of Flames. After the mission was attacked by Alanciari forces, the survivors of Edell Vrai's ill-fated mission traveled back to Alanciar through the Sea of Flames. They used a hijacked Alanciari trawler Mischance and brought with the Alanciari signals officer Jogan Halder.
