| - Chantillis Nova, who preferred to be called by his nickname, "Chevy," was an El-Aurian Starfleet officer in the 24th century, serving primarily with the Diplomatic Corps. As a Lieutenant commander, he was assigned to Deep Space Station K-7 as diplomatic officer. Circa 2370, he served a brief stint with the Judge Advocate General's office on Earth. (Junction Point) Young by El-Aurian standards, Chevy was born in 2205. When he was six years old, he was found aboard a small starship adrift near the Sol system. Taken to the Europa colony, he was first placed in an orphanage, and eventually adopted by Herb and Patrice Nova, retired human diplomats. He had no memory of his birth parents. As an adult, he worked for a civilian engineering corporation, as a sales consultant. He was involved in the transactions between that company and Starfleet over the warp nacelles and engines aboard the original Constitution-class vessels. In the late 24th century, Chevy met Starfleet officer Madeline Ruhl, who became a mentor to him, and whom he sometimes called "Aunt Maddie" despite being over a century older. Rhul sponsored his appointment to Starfleet Academy and the two would later serve together aboard Deep Space Station K-7 in 2380. While stationed on K-7, Chevy also befriended Lieutenant Sean Bryce, whom he had briefly known while Bryce was a cadet. Chevy Nova was a player character of Dave Hartsfield in the Junction Point PBEM game.
