| - Cryokinesis was a Force power that allowed a Force-user to draw heat away from the object, causing its temperature to drop rapidly. This arcane technique caused the heat vitality of the victim to hemorrhage, but it was impossible for the caster to channel that vitality into their own body.

- Cryokinesis is the set of abilities featured in inFAMOUS 2 that revolve around the manipulation or production of cold or ice.

- Rundas also demonstrates other cryokinetic abilities. When he enters the Temple, he summons ice that sweeps across the ground and freezes several Pirate Troopers solid, while also producing spikes and stalagmites. Moments after "saving" Samus, Rundas sends a line of ice that freezes the Temple's entrance, preventing Samus from escaping. As the battle begins, Rundas summons large stalagmites that serve as cover for both him and Samus and can be destroyed by his attacks. He can also jump on top of cylindrical ice formations, where he will fire 3 or 4 ice balls at Samus, that she can destroy for Phazon Units and Missile Ammo. In cutscenes on Norion, this ability was seen to be powerful enough to freeze Space Pirate ATCs and send them crashing.
- Tracy usually needs touch in order to freeze an object, however she has been able to let off ice from her body and freeze a room or house in the process. She is also able to create icicles in her palm and launch them at people. Her ability doesn't neccessarily require the presence of water, but this does seem to make its use easier. She is usually not affected by her own ability, not even cooled, but she found that her cold snap trapped herself in ice, and later turned herself completely into ice. Since her ice form melted and reformed, she has found that her ability seems to have advanced, in canon, World 2 and World 3, but not yet in World 8.
