William James Brossart (born May 29, 1949) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals. He was chosen 28th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. Brossart spent two seasons with the Quebec Aces and then moved up to the Flyers in 1971-72. He scored 4 assists in 42 games. However the team was woeful and Brossart had a Plus-minus rating of -49 in 1975-76. One more season in the minors and Brossart retired in 1977.
