Barksalamanders were amphibious creatures found around the Farrow Ridges. Hedgethorn Lammergyre named these creatures after discovering one on a foraging trip. They were edible and tasted good when marinated in woodgrog and seasoned with nibblick. Their leather could be used for clothing, it took about thirty salamanders to make a jacket.
