The RGHRG1 features an engraved basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with a special Giger-inspired inlay. Components include dual, covered Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups with a Giger design on the bridge pickup; an Edge III double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The volume and tone knobs are Giger-designed skull shapes. The truss rod cover bears a Giger signature. The RGHRG1 was the final of five models in the Giger series. It was the first RG model with a bolt on neck in the line. It was offered only in 2008.
