Synopsis
  • Superboy goes off into outer space leaving behind a Superboy robot to handle his chores and heroic deeds. When the robot begins malfunctioning however, the town turns against the Boy of Steel. Superboy must return to Earth early to make things right.
  • In the 30th century, the Legion of Super-Heroes look backwards in time and discover that young Lex Luthor has lured Superboy into a trap. The Boy of Steel is stranded on an asteroid fighting a group of Luthor's animated Kryptonite Men. Legionnaire Lightning Lad goes back in time to aid Superboy. Luthor learns of the existence of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
  • A new boy comes to Smallville named Pete Ross. Clark becomes friends with Pete, but Ross' constant scrutiny makes him worried that he might discover his dual identity as Superboy. As it turns out, Pete's attention towards Clark was aimed at casting him in the role of Superboy in the High School play. Little does he realize how appropriate a casting choice he has made.
