| - 1897-1905(1144-1152) Roman Legions land in South Eastern Africa where mechanator pilium placements are used for the first time in a large campaign. They are facing the Zulu kingdom, the most advanced civilisation in Southern Africa. 16,000 legionaries all with rifa, pilium or in the mechanator pilium placements fought against 40,000 Zulu warriors over the eight years. The Zulus lost their independence. In 1898(1145) a Barbaroi kingdom, led by their King Shebel bin Abdullah and a pilium armed army of 30,000 as well as several wooded warships invaded Habasiah, attacking trading ships bound for India and Bactria. Their reason for the attack was because of the Roman monopoly of all Mare Erythraeum trade. The invasion was swiftly defeated, the blockade surprisingly took until 1900(1147) to dislodge. In 1899(1146) Pannonia Inferior and Dacia voted into the Senate. Also, ADAs in Calusa came to realise that lamimuscae, the small blood sucking flies, were carriers of numerous diseases and by extension, many other insects were as well. Before this, it had been known that vermin carried diseases, but not necessarily insects. 1900-2(1147-9) The Canalis Petraea was greatly expanded from its previous single lane 50 pes (14.75m) depth to 70 pes (20.65m) depth and was now wide enough for multiple ships to travel in both directions. 1901(1148) Nihonia became the first nation to have their police agencies collect the finger prints of convicts and search for finger prints at crime scenes.
