[Source] The Cyax system contained the planet Da Soocha, and its star, Cyax. Seen from the Hutt world of Varl, Cyax was one of the brightest stars on the sky, and the Hutts had many legends of the system. They left the system unexplored when they left Varl, and erased it from their astrogation charts. Following the destruction of Nar Shaddaa during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Hutts expanded into the system, and settled particularly onto Da Soocha.

Seen from the Hutt world of Varl, Cyax was one of the brightest stars on the sky, and the Hutts had many legends of the system. They left the system unexplored when they left Varl, and erased it from their astrogation charts. During the campaign against the reborn Emperor Palpatine, Green Squadron was performing a patrol mission in the Cyax system when it encountered a target which did not broadcast any ID codes. The squadron moved to intercept the vessel when its commander, Admiral Gial Ackbar, identified it as the flagship Defiance whose transponder had been damaged by an Imperial convoy during a recon mission in the Galactic Core. Following the destruction of Nar Shaddaa during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Hutts expanded into the system, and settled particularly onto Da Soocha.
