abstract	The Squall-class Gunship is a fearsome little capital ship developed by the natives of Oris. Like all their designs, the Squall is built to be able to operate in space, atmosphere, or underwater. As a triphibian, the Squall has weak shields but a strong hull to resist underwater pressures. This versatile and dangerous ship can be seen throughout Laro Order space. The Squall is one of the fastest capital ships in the galaxy thanks to an innovative design built into the vessel. The Squall has a standard bank of engines located at the rear of the ship, but it also houses a second bank on the bottom, known as the burst engines, that it can deploy for an extra burst of speed if needed (hence the name). Otherwise it will remain retracted into the ship. The Squall also has a surprisingly powerful bite for such a small ship. Five quad laser turrets are spaced around the ship to repel starfighters, two forward mounted double turbolaser cannons and a forward facing tractor beam can make quick work of freighters or other light capital ships, and a heavy turbolaser in the back can provide an unexpected punch to other capital ships. In addition, the Squall has six top mounted warhead launchers and two side mounted concussion missile launchers to deal with any other threats and to use in underwater attacks.
