The Massey-Harris 744 was built from 1947 to 1953 in the UK at the Manchester M-H factory before moving to the M-H Kilmarnock plant in 1949. The M-H 744 was replaced by the Massey-Harris 745 in 1953, which had the Perkins L4 engine instead. * Option of long or short wheelbase * 3-point Linkage was optional * UK Built with option of Perkins P6 (TA) engine * Some Row crop versions built. * Some fitted with Armstrong Siddeley engine
