"Dōngtián Xiǎo Yǔ" is an original Xin Hua song. The title is dedicated to and was named after the famous Taiwanese music producer, Deng Yuxian, who lived during the colonial era. During this time, all Taiwanese citizens were forced to accept Japanese education and were not allowed to use Chinese names or make Chinese songs. His song was translated and used as a song for the military.
