HMS Caradoc was a Royal Navy ship famous for the captures it made in the Bay of Biscay. Her prizes were handled by Truelove and Wilson. The ship's company was expected to share £70,000 when they came in. Unfortunately, they were not paid off immediately after the establishment of the Peace of Amiens, but were sent to Malta to assist in relieving the garrison there.
