Ashley goes to collect Laurel from hospital whilst Nicola is visiting, she notices how uneasy Laurel is about returning home but Laurel insists she is fine and has just had too much time on her hands to think about what happened in the church. Later, the frosty reception between the pair subsides and Cain tries to make it up to Charity with a takeaway for them both but Charity is upset he can't trust her. Are Cain and Charity meant to get on? Val gets excited about the prospect of opening a restaurant for the B&B and presents Terry with a sample menu later that evening. However, her cooking doesn’t quite go to plan and Val resorts to plan B.
