Ofier is based on few different middle-eastern cultures. Judging by their armors and weapons one can easily deduce that Ofier is loosely based on the Ottomans. Since the helmets they wear strongly resemble an Ottoman Chichak, and Kilij is an Ottoman Turkish word for sword. By the dialog with the runewright it show resemblance to Jewish mystics (Kabbalah) : arranging of words and the power of leaders, a believe in a single God and a written record of the world creation. As well as some greetings such as a blessing the guest. Ofier is likely named after Ofir the land from which the biblical king Solomon trade for his gold. it is identified by researcher as either Now day Yemen, Afar region in Ethiopia, West India or a legendary mythical place.
