Passenger Compartment (Shuttle) This compartment has enough room for 20 passengers or about 80 tons of cargo. The deck extending toward the cockpit hatch doubles as a boarding ramp - when the shuttle lands, that section of the deck itself can be lowered at an angle to the surface below. [Loudspeaker] This is Karem. We've been spotted, but our IFF codes check out as an acceptable vessel. Requesting clearance now. Aegis shifts in his seat, preparing himself mentally for a speedy disembarkation. "Everyone good to go?" he asks. [Loudspeaker] On final approach. Any objections, raise them now.

  • Passenger Compartment (Shuttle) This compartment has enough room for 20 passengers or about 80 tons of cargo. [Loudspeaker] We've clearance to deliver technicians to the Dreadnaught. As soon as we land, we've got to disable their commucations, as they'll figure out really quickly we're not delivering technicians. Aegis shifts in his seat, preparing himself mentally for a speedy disembarkation. "Everyone good to go?" he asks. Kash Narr fingers the buckle on his seat, laying his ears back. "I have no armor, and no gun." He flexes his claws out, then back in, "Guess it will be just like back home." Savossk leans back in his seat, releasing a heavy sigh. "Thiz shall prove to be interrresting," he growls softly to himself, staring straight up. Ruu remains silent, arms crossed in front of her, her facial expression giving away her dislike for this whole deal. The grime seems to even... enhance this upset attitude. Kash Narr gets jerked foward in the chair's braces. He grunts, "I thought Karem was a good pilot?" He shakes his head, and looks down, "Alright everyone, time to put your slave faces on." [Loudspeaker] On final approach. Any objections, raise them now. Aegis chuckles under his Stormtrooper helmet. "If I could trade spots with you, I would, Kash. At least you've still got your claws. Kash Narr sighs, "Claws don't work well against armor." He unclips the belts, and stands, holding onto the chair incase there are anymore bumps, "Well, as they say, lets get this party started." Savossk slowly unbuckles himself from his seat, standing up swiftly and holding his long arms out in a stretch. He says nothing for now, but unsurprisingly grunts unintelligibly. Aegis unbuckles himself and readies his rifle. "Time to get moving, alien scum," he states, though it is evident from his tone that he is smiling beneath the helmet. Ruu stands, arms crossed in front of her. She makes a visible, but feeble, attempt at wiping the frown from her face and changing it into just a sad-nobody-slave look. Karem steps into the Passenger Compartment, all gleaming white armor and shiny black rifle. "We've got fifteen minutes to cover a kilometer of starship. Engineering first, then bridge. Nothing in between. That's all we need for now. We'll pacify the crew when we absolutely have to, but not until then. Bluff has gotten us aboard, and it will get us to the bridge. When we're there, Ruu will put the program into the computer. With that, I'll be able to fly us out of here. We'll return for the Sentinel once we're safely away. Understand?" Rogue says, "Know what's cool about dead girls?" Entering from the cockpit is Cooper, covered in the white armor of the Imperial Stormtroopers. SLung on his back is the standard wapons of the 'troopers, a Blastech E-11. "Understood." comes from beneath his helmet, dehumantized by the helmet. Kash Narr nods his head, looking down at the ground, "Yes sir." he mumbles softly, not making eyecontact. The Trandoshan nods to Karem, growling something under his breath angrily. He closes his eyes for a few moments and mumbles something about a Scorekeeper before his eyes open. Ruu lets out a breath, and nods toward Karem, taking a cue from Kash and looking to the floor as much as possible, letting her arms hang loose at her sides. Flight Bay - (Systems Deck: Dreadnaught) Despite the dreadnaught's impressive size, this hangar bay is built with housing in mind for no more than a full squadron of starfighters. The icy cold of space penetrates the magnetic containment field here, the temperature always hovering at a few degrees above freezing. Fuel lines snake across the deck plating, itself made of a layer of duracrete strong enough to support whatever vessels land here. The sharp smells of fuel, lubricants, and heated metals assault the nose, while a near-constant hum of sound invades the ears as droids and maintenance crews do their jobs. A large hatchway leads to the main corridor on this deck, permitting access into and out of this twenty- by sixty-meter bay. Though this hatch is generally open, a very clearly marked set of blast doors are ready to be slammed shut at the first sign of decompression or failure of the magcon field. Above the deck, sitting in a small blister on the ceiling, is the flight controller's observation post. From here, the crewman directs flight operations aboard the dreadnaught. Between the flight bay and the main corridor stand two security guards, DH-17s holstered. They wave amiably as the Stormtroopers disembark, clearly rather lax in their duties. Kash Narr steps off the shuttle, staring at the floor, and yet not running into things. His ears are laid back slightly, and he has a slight slouch, a defeated Shistavanen if there ever was one. The pale twi'lek shuffles forward, facing the ground. She doesn't look up toward the guards letting her ears guide her, and seems to try to go as slow as she possibly can in that direction. Karem, appearing every bit a Stormtrooper, steps off of the shuttle leading the crew of miscreants. He approaches the pair of security guards, speaking through his helmet. "We're here with the technicians you asked for. The Trandoshan and Shistavanen are for manual labor, but the Twi'lek claims to have some computer skills. We're instructed to report them all to Engineering." The saurian's head is also lowered, his mouth open to reveal his many teeth. He is almost constantly growling under his breath, appearing very angry and perhaps even disturbed. Aegis steps off the shuttle behind the 'slaves'. His posture is razor sharp and he holds his weapon as though he means business. It would appear that a military bearing comes rather easily to him. Cooper steps out of the shuttle last, bringing up the rear of the line. After all, it just won't do for the slaves to lag behind. "Keep it down." he says to Savossk, the helmetcomm dehumantizing his voice; giving him a hard look. Well, as hard a look as one can give form under a helmet. Plans, it seems, never last past first contact with the enemy. The guards, it seems, do not buy Karem's explanation. One of them goes for his commlink, the other dropping his hand to his blaster. The commlink-wielding guard nods, "Just a moment, and we'll verify." Kash Narr lays his ears back slightly, then perks them towards the commlink wielding guard, trying to hear what is said if its one of the older ones. He stays very quiet, his gaze still at his feet. "My orders are right here." Karem unholsters his pistol, stepping forward to try to press it into the guard's body as he fires, in order to muffle the sound and light of the blast. Before the guard's commlink gets anywhere near his mouth, he jerks once, eyes wide. Twitching but a moment later, he falls, two blaster rounds in his gut. The third slams into the bulkhead behind him, creating a smoking score. Ruu curses like only a twi'leki can curse - in Ryl, and oh how fluently. She doesn't have any guns or weapons or defenses, so she does the next best thing - she runs, heading toward the wall to hide behind a jutting bulkhead. As soon as Karem's pistol clears its holster, Kash is darting towards the second guard, almost a white blur as he extends his claws, aiming to slash out the guards throat quickly. The guard twitches to the side. Unfortunately, it's the wrong side, and his throat is violently slashed open. Blood comes gushing out, and he falls like a wet sack of potatoes. Cooper slides the rifle from his shoulder, bringing it up to aim at the guard. However, he sees Kash moving for him, so he holds his finger away from the trigger, so as to not shoot Kash. Aegis brings his rifle to his shoulder and swears as Kash darts into his field of fire. He keeps the rifle sighted, but doesn't pull the trigger, watching as the guard falls into a twitching heap. "I need a perrzonal shield," the Trandoshan mutters lazily after he sees both guards go down. He takes a few steps forward casually, reaching somewhere into his cloak and extracting a small blaster pistol. He stares at Kash's victim, frowning a bit. "We may not yet be discovered. Put your gun away, Savossk. We'll see as we move on." Karem moves forward, towards the main corridor. "Put Kash in the back, maybe they won't notice. Engineering's on this deck, that's our primary destination." Blood does indeed splatter against Kash's white fur. He pants slightly, frowning, then turns to Karem, "Sorry, didn't want him to yell for help." He shakes his hand slightly, flicking the blood onto the deck plating," Ruu peeks out from behind her bulkhead. "Probably too late to say that I have a bad feeling about this," the twi'lek says, moving toward Karem and co. "What do we do about the bodies? Someone's going to relieve them, soon." "Hopefully not." comes from Cooper, bringing his rifle to a ready position, held near the bottom of his chest, leangthwise, where it points somewheere to the left of him. "Let's get moving before someone comes to change shifts." Aegis nods his head under the helmet. "They didn't have time to call. If we move fast we can still succeed," he states as he waves for Ruu and Savossk to move up behind Karem. Savossk, grunting in his usual anger, slips the blaster back underneath his cloak. He lowers his head again and opens his mouth slightly, just to show a bit of his yellows. He follows after the others. "Because of our Shistavanen friend here, there's blood everywhere anyways. Our best bet now is speed." With that, Karem disappears into the main corridor, already moving aft as he steps through the hatch. His white armored boots make a clearly audible sound as he moves away. Main Corridor - (Systems Deck: Dreadnaught) This corridor is the main artery on the Systems deck of the RSD Dreadnaught. This central vein of the honeycomb of access tubes and corridors permits access to each of the most important locales on this deck. To the aft, it disappears into engineering. As it moves forward, the starboard hatchway opens into the flight bay aboard the ship. Still further forward rests the cargo bay and additional power generators, though the latter are behind secured hatchways. Unlike the decks above, this corridor does not seem quite finished. Piping is clearly visible above, and the floor plating here is made up of durasteel grates; underneath which runs still more conduits and piping. The sharp scents of lubricants and metals in all states drift in from both the flight bay and the engineering section. Only two polished sections of this corridor are evident. First, the central turbolift is as pristine on this deck as on the others. Also, the pilots' ready room has been lovingly maintained, and the plasteel windows showing the interior show a clutter-free environment, without the churning machinery present on the rest of the deck. Kash Narr follows at the back as suggested, "Sorry," he mutters under his breath as he looks down again, becoming the slave. This corridor, at least, is mostly empty. A few technicians are here, but they do not look up as the 'Stormtroopers' pass by. Ruu frowns as she begins to follow, reaching forward to tap Cooper's elbow. Inconspicuously, or so she hopes, she tilts her head back, motioning for him to head that direction, to 'guard' Kash. Aegis moves beside Kash, grinning under his helmet. He follows the group as they move through the corridor toward engineering. Instead of nodding or anything, Cooper falls back a step, knudging Ruu with the tip of his barrel, as if telling her to speed up, and get in front of him. Savossk moves through the corridor, a meter or so behind Karem. The Trandoshan's head is still lowered, his hands hanging limply at his sides. He utters no words. Unchallenged, Karem moves towards the seventy-metres' distant Engineering section, boots still echoing off the hard deck plates. Kash Narr lets his arms hang limp as he moves, playing the slave, not speaking, not looking around, just treading along quietly. He raises his left hand to his right arm, the one that has more blood on it, and drags his claw down it, opening a shallow cut, so he can claim the blood is is own. Aegis continues to move beside Kash, pretending to be watching the bleeding Shistavanen closely, but actually scanning the corridor from behind his helmet. Ruu makes her way onward, seemingly finding the floor quite interesting. She speeds up just so slightly, making her way past Cooper without a noise, though by the way she picks up her feet, it can be guessed that deck plating doesn't feel so great. Now behind Ruu, Cooper continues walking at the speed of the rest of the group, his boots also making the same noises as Karem's. Karem continues to Engineering, stepping through the hatchway still unchallenged. Main Engineering - (Systems Deck: Dreadnaught) The increased temperature in this chamber is immediately noticeable, as is the deep thrum of the vessel's engines, which have long ago lost the 'baby's whine' of a maiden voyage. Most notable here are the four massive power generators, each powering one of the ship's critical systems. Shields, firepower, and engines each have a dedicated generator, while the fourth generator is for onboard systems and backup. The engine generator is often rerouted to shields or engines, however, as even these aging engines generate enough additional power to be considered generators in their own right. A crisscross of catwalks and ladders is the primary mode of transportation here, made of shaky-looking grating. Some of the catwalks have lost their railing, and it seems a dangerous proposition to navigate here with any amount of speed. Regardless, the crew must do this, and they do it well. A small alcove near the fore of the compartment is where primary engineering control rests, where the chief engineer and his small command crew work to make the ship operate as smoothly as possible. Here, there are some five security guards, lounging about Engineering with little awareness of their surroundings. They are bad enough that they do not, in fact, notice the arriving group. The chief engineer, however, does. Kash Narr keeps his head down, his eyes placing where all the guards are, then the engineers. He holds his hand over the cut, pretending that it is causing him some pain, but as all good slaves, he is ever silent. Aegis enters next to Kash, still pretending to watch him while sizing up the security officers from the corner of his eyes. Entering in front of Kash, but behind Ruu, in what is probally the middle of the group is Cooper. His boots echo off the plating as he walks. Ruu slithers in, moving efficiently as she can in front of Cooper, head to the floor like the rest of the nonhumans. Karem moves forward to the Engineering Chief, holding up his hand in greeting. "Inspection tour of the Museum's quality of work, Chief. We have orders to power up the ship and make sure she's not been sabotaged before crews begin tearing into her systems." The white of his armor shines even in here. Even though the prospect is bizarre, Karem manages to convince the Chief. He nods, and issues orders to the crew. Within moments, the ship is well into her startup sequence. Kash Narr starts panting softly, leaning to the side slightly, his head down, but eyes watching as much as he can. Cooper keeps his place behind the Twi'lek, unmoving aside from his feet which propel him forward. His rifle stays in it's positiona cross his chest. "Excellent, Chief. We will return and continue the inspection when the powerup sequence is finished. We must inspect the bridge to make sure the operating crew are loyal to His Imperial Majesty's wishes." Karem nods sharply, turns on his heels, and stomps out, boots clanking against the plating here. Aegis glances at Kash behind his helmet for a moment, then back to the security. He's glad for the helmet--he can't suppress his grin as the engineer buys the improbable lie. Kash Narr turns and follows the leader, meaning Karem, still staying towards the back of the group, under the watchful gaze of Aegis. Ruu keeps quiet, biding her time. She glances up, just once, toward a guard, breaking her facade, but quickly returns her gaze to the floor. Savossk follows behind Karem obediently, making no noise except for the slightly clicking sound the claws on his feet make with each step. And when Ruu glances up, Cooper jerks his head towards the door, indicating her to follow Karem out as he give her another knudge with the tip of his barrel. He remains silent as he moves to head out just behind the Twi'lek. Aegis follows the group beside Kash, glancing at the engineer for a moment before turning and heading for the door along with the rest of the group. First, the central turbolift is as pristine on this deck as on the others. Also, the pilots' ready room has been lovingly maintained, and the plasteel windows showing the interior show a clutter-free environment, without the churning machinery present on the rest of the deck. Kash Narr lifts his head just slightly to watch the still working technicians, his ears perked foward as he listens to the ship. Karem steps into the corridor, moving immediately fore to the primary turbolift. He presses the call button, waiting. Ruu seems to be on-edge as she walks, as if she wants to say or ask something. She keeps her mask on, though, staring at the ground like a robot programmed to do so. Cooper walks behind Ruu, seemingly picked that slave to kepe an eye on. Or atleast, keep an eye on the most, as the others still need watching. Savossk follows calmly behind Karem, the sound of his claws scratching against the floor becoming rhythmic. Other than that, he is quiet. Aegis continues to walk as though guarding Kash carefully, though his attention is hardly on the bleeding Shistavanen at all as he scans the corridor and moves toward the turbolift. Command Corridor - (Command Deck: Dreadnaught) The most refined section of the vessel, this palce nonetheless has an absolutely military aura. Though the deck plates shine, they shine from the sweat of crewmembers who spend hours polishing them, not from the artificial chemicals used on luxury yachts. The hatchways are only wide enough to allow two men abreast to walk through them, and even that is tight. Every hatch is a bulkhead, each one capable of closing to seal an atmospheric leak. The crisp sound of booted footsteps echoes down this hallway. Two thirds of the way to the aft of the vessel lies the bridge, the hatchway clearly marked. A hundred meters fore is the primary gunnery room, while the Captain's ready room lies still fore of that. Karem steps out of the Turbolift, leading the makeshift bunch of rebels forward towards the bridge. The man's hijacked suit of Stormtrooper armor gleams in the bright lights here. Kash Narr grunts softly, moving along with the group, looking down, his claws scratching softly against the deck plating. At least he was never use to boots to begin with, since his feet are just shaped wrong for them. Cooper steps out of the turbolift in his same spot in the group, behind the Twi'lek. His armor shines as well, and his boots sounds off the deck plating. Savossk continues to follow behind Karem, still offerning no noise, despite his claws connecting with the floor. His head remains lowered. The door to the turbo lift slides open with a hiss. Aegis continues to move beside Kash, his gaze on the corridor, alert for any sign that the group has been found out Ruu makes her way onward, keeping her mouth shut. She seems even more anxious than before, though it's obvious that she attempts to quell it, trying to walk smoothly. Into the bridge Karem goes, leading the way with his E-11 across his chest. Bridge - (Command Deck: Dreadnaught) From the outside, the command center of this 600-meter warship looks like little more than a blister on the ship's hull. The interior belies this instantly, with an incredible view of space and the vessel's forward hull provided by the heavyweight plasteel screens in place here. Sensors and instrument panels abound, with enough space for the bridge crew of seventy-five to adequately man their stations. The bridge is set up on three levels, the lowest level being furthest forward. Here is communications and sensors, while the Captain's chair sits on the middle level. Still further back are general systems readouts and shipboard operations panels. In here, every panel gleams, every screen flawlessly cleaned and every holoemitter perfectly maintained. This is the brain of the ship, connecting to every system aboard with a series of relays that can bring virtually any needed information up on one of the screens here. The bridge is extremly busy, with groups of technicians working on the different consoles and displays in the room, cleaning and maintaining them meticulously. One group has apparently just finished replacing the Navigation Console, which is totally spotless. It is obviously new because there is a disconnected console laying on the floor, which is worn and chipped. Another group is currently polishing the bulkheads and surrounding walls, giving them a like-new shine. Kash Narr keeps his place in the group as they move onto the bridge, his eyes glancing around, his head lifting slightly, just cause of the sheer size of it. He blinks a few times, then lowers his head again, biting back the comment forming on his tongue. Karem approaches one of the technicians, speaking through his armored grille. "Inspection team coming aboard. Who's in charge here?" The man keeps a strict military bearing in his stance, feet together and without so much as a fidget. Cooper enters just behind the Twi'lek, and once they enter the bridge he has to supress himself from glancing around. He mimics Karem's stance, rigid, feet together, and move unneccessary movements. The twi'lek in question leans, shifting her weight from her left to right foot as she enters the bridge, face somber, eyes locked to the ground in front of her. Savossk comes to a stop as Karem moves to confront one of the crewmembers. The Trandoshan's head remains lowered, letting him avert any gazes that may come his way from the crew. Aegis enters, still at Kash's side. He glances about the bridge, glad that the helmet covers his impressed expression. One of the technicians working on the display screen looks over, and jumps at the people entering the bridge, "No no no no! You can't come in here! We're cleaning it! This ship is going to a Museum you know, and it must be spotless! We especially can't have that... THING in here, shedding!" he finishes, pointing at Kash. "I was instructed to deliver him to the project leader aboard this vessel. He is to be assigned to menial labor. Shave him if the fur bothers you." Karem again turns his attention to the technician nearest him. "Your supervisor. Where is he?" Kash Narr lays his ears back, frowning as he stares at the floor, working very hard to stare at the floor now. Must not kill people that wish to shave his fur. Must not. Cooper just stands behind the Twi'lek, in his rigid pose. He shoots the Twi'lek a quick look, as if telling her to be more still. Aegis grins under his helmet at the mention of shaving the Shistavanen, though this time he is glad that the helmet conceals his face from Kash more than the rest of the crew. Ruu can't very well see Cooper's glance, looking at the floor and all. She continues to wobble, perhaps slowing down just a tiny bit. Savossk begins to regulate his breathing, taking in full breaths so as to quell whatever anger is building up inside of him. The same Technician who spoke stepped forward, "I am in charge here, and I highly protest these... creatures... on my clean bridge! Do you know how many corrosive oils humanoids secreet thru their skin?", he said, continuing to point at Kash with one of his gloved hands. Finally, he sighed, and lowered his arm, "But if they are assigned to us, we will have to use them somehow. I'm sure they will be useful cleaning the corridors or the hanger bay. I don't suppose its too much to ask that they understand basic..." he says, trailing off. Slowly, he turned towards the creatures, and speaks very slowly, "You are not... to touch anything... without approval. Do you understand?" In Shistavanen: Kash Narr lays his ears back, not even nodding to the lead technician, " I will gladly rip your throat out and dance in your blood you maggot sucking human. " He keeps his gaze lowered, his hands clenched so he doesn't flex his claws out in agitation. Aegis turns his helmet to glare at Kash. "Quiet, beast!" he commands before looking to the technician. "He understands you, even if he is to stupid to speak Basic," he states. Cooper doesn't even look back at Kash as Aegis takes care of him. "They understand." he says, his voice cold, wether he made it that way conciously, or it's the helmet, is hard to tell. "I'm afraid we're going to have to let this one secrete oils on your computer. The Twi'lek was caught slicing, so we're going to use her skills with computers to check for a software sabotage. I have the necessary program on this data disk." The 'Stormtrooper' reaches into a small pouch on his utility belt, withdrawing a disk that he holds out to Ruu. "Try not to ruin these computers. They're worth more than a thousand of your pitiful lives." Ruu looks up with a nerveous, slightly frightened look. She glances at the technicians nearby, and then to the disk-wielding stormtrooper. Slowly, she reaches out a hand to take the disk. Kash Narr flinches at the sharp words from the Storm Troopers, and looks back at the floor again, waiting quietly. He keeps his ears pinned back, following Savossk's example by taking deep, regular breaths to keep his anger in check. The technician takes on a panicked look at the Stormtrooper's words, "Wait, who would sabotage a ship destined for a museum? Forget it, I don't want to know. Just make sure it wears gloves. I'm sure there are spares in one of our boxes of cleaning supplies." Savossk still keeps his breath slow and even, having a good feeling that if he did not, he would do something rash. He does not look up, or move in any other way. Aegis looks to Ruu, pretending to watch her closely as she takes the disk. Cooper eyes the Twi'lek from behind his helmet, however on the outside he remain in place, unmoving. Ruu looks toward the order-giving technician, eyes wide with the, ah, fear of, ah, Imperial might.. and takes the disk with her as she heads toward a nearby box. Kash Narr glances around the bridge a moment, his head still lowered. He finally looks at Aegis, and grunts softly, tilting his head towards the comm console, his voice gravely, rough, "Clean now?" A question, his head still lowered. The Technician watches the Twi'lek for a moment before turning over towards the Stormtroopers, "Ok, we have two slaves for cleaning and one to check for tampering on the computer. Can I get back to my work, or do you need me to sign off on receipt?" Ruu slips on a pair of gloves from the box, the disk exchanging hands as she does so. She stands, looking about for a proper terminal to work at. "You may return to your duties. 454, 302, observe the slaves until their first duty rounds are complete." Karem moves after Ruu, moving to the console. "Just load the program and get your dirty paws off of the computer, scum." "Aye, sir." comes from beneath Cooper's helmet. With Aegis closest to KAsh, he turns his head to watch Savossk. Aegis turns his rifle on Kash. "Affirmative," he states as he watches the Shistavanen. Savossk doesn't make any move, except for the rising and falling of his massive torso from each deep breath he takes. Ruu ignores Stormtrooper Karem, inserting the diskette into the prerequisite port on the bridge workstation. Watching as the screen boots to a vibrant blue, she places her hands near the console, ready to begin churning characters into the sytem. The Shistavanen nods its head slightly, moving towards the box that Ruu got her gloves from, pulling out anything that resembles a cleaning rag. After that, he moves towards the Communcations console, starting to wipe down the frame around it, then up over the top, then down to the controls. He uses the rag to hide him turning off the comm systems, one by one. The technician turns away from the group, and goes back to cleaning the forward viewscreen, rubbing along the edges with a very fine cloth, totally oblivious to the actions of the other group. Cooper watches Savossk carefully, unmoving form his spot. He's said few words one the bridge, and doesn't look to be about to say anymore. Savossk grumbles something under his breath, his neck starting to ache from the continued staring at the floor beneath his feet. The console begins to chatter - not from any internal noise, but from the sound of Ruu's digits moving over the controls with an experienced efficiency. White lines begin scrolling down on their distinctively blue background. "Troopers, move to the exit. We can better cover the scum from one location." Though it may seem suspicious to a military mind, Karem holds his rifle across his chest as he moves towards the exit, stopping there and turning around to face the bridge. Aegis leaves Kash to do his subtle work and moves to the exit to stand on Karem's right side, his blaster rifle also held across his chest. Blaster rifle also held across his chest, Cooper wordlessly moves to stand on Karem's left side in front of the exit. One of the technicians looks up as Karem speaks, watching the Stormtroopers for a second, before shrugging and going back to work, cleaning one of the weapon control panels with a fine brush and cloth. As he turns the last comm channel off, he glances over at Karem and nods slightly, then continues on with his cleaning. There shouldn't even be internal coms left if he did it right. He tries not to smear blood across the console, cleaning it and moving to the next one, a shipboard operations panel. Ruu's terminal beeps irately, displaying, "Have a Nice Day," in a larger-than-usual font at the bottom of the screen. She smiles to herself, and ejects the disk, powering down the terminal. She turns, chin up, and begins to whistle as she wanders toward the navicomp. Karem stands where he is, head turning from side to side, towards one slave and then another. In reality, the man is searching for commlinks in posession of the crew, as well as weaponry. Taking the que from Karem, Cooper begins doing the same, moving his head left, then right as he searchs the crew in the bridge. As subtly as possible, Aegis readies his rifle in case someone decides that anything is out of the ordinary. Savossk sighs quietly, his head still lowered. He moves his legs a bit, keeping the blood flowing. Ruu sits at the brand new navigation console, holding up her gloved hands to the lead technician, whether he's looking or not, and begins to tap at it, inserting the disk once more. Kash Narr peers over the operations console as Ruu starts whistling. He studies the readout carefully, then moves towards the Toopers, passing close by in front of Karem, whispering, "Engine room is reporting ready." and then is gone, to the next place he can clean, the sensor station. Karem nods to the nearest technician - the one in charge, and speaks. "The slave is finished with her computer work. How well did the vessel's cruise to this location go? If there were any problems, we are to repeat the cruise to duplicate them and allow them to be repaired. The Emperor wants this ship flawless before she is displayed to the public." Aegis slowly moves further to Karem's right, trying to optimize his field of fire as he watches the technicians carefully. The Technician turns towards Karem, and shakes his head slightly, "No real problems from what I understand, but you would want to speak with the Engineers down in the Engine room about that. They would know any problems better than we would, since they were the ones that actually ran the flight." Ruu taps away at the navigational computer, lines of code and access queries appearing on the screen. The sound of her typing stops suddenly, and she hits one final key with a definate finality to it. Ejecting the disk, she stands, and slowly wanders off to the far side of the room, toward the boxes where the gloves are stored. Cooper takes a few steps to Karem's left, doing the same motions at Aegis. "We've spoken to them already. They reported no problems." A slight contradiction, perhaps, but Karem doesn't appear to care. After several moments, he speaks again, unslinging his rifle and handing it towards Kash Narr. "Each of you are now our prisoners. The first man to move for his commlink dies." A pause, and he nods to Ruu. "We're good to go." The now clearly non-Stormtrooper moves towards the navigation console, again addressing the crew. "We have taken control of this ship. All throughout the vessel, our fellows are capturing necessary points. Nobody will be harmed if you do not resist." Aegis brings his rifle butt up to his shoulder, lifting the barrel to cover the technicians on the right side of the bridge. "If you cooperate you will not be harmed," he states. The Trandoshan finally looks up, his brown-orange eyes immediatly casting a glare at one of the crewmembers. One of his clawed hands reaches into his cloak, pulling a pistol out of it a few moments later. He raises the barrel to aim at the man. The saurian flashes his yellow teeth, grinning widely now. "What they said." Cooper says, taking his left hand off his rifle, and reaching down and pulling his DH-17 from his belt, which he hands to Ruu before replacing his left hand back on the E-11, and pointing it towards the nearest technician, but not firing. The Technician blinks at the Stormtrooper, then steps quickly towards Karem as he moves to the navigation console, trying to claw at the Stormtrooper's armor and pull him away, "Now wait just a minute, you can't do this!" "Speaking of commlinks," Ruu says in near-perfect basic as she steps to Cooper to accept the deadly blaster pistol, turning the safety off with just as much nonchalance and experience as she used the computers and waving it toward the nearest techie, "You. Drop yours. Nice and easy. Kick it toward me." Karem tries to push the man away, relatively gently. "This vessel was built by the Republic to protect her citizens and defend against lawlessness and cruelty. It will once again serve such a purpose. Your work in restoring her has been absolutely invaluable. I do, however, regret that her weapons aren't functioning at this time." A pause as he continues trying to keep the man at bay while moving forward, "Why, precisely, can't we do this?" Glad to see Karem is handling things without blasting anyone, Aegis looks to several of the technicians on his side of the room. "You heard the Twi'lek. Drop your commlinks on the ground and kick them over. Now," he commands calmly. Savossk nods along with the words said by Ruu and Aegis. He motions with the pistol for the man he is aiming at to do the same, as well as the technicians around him. "Oh, and if you try to use them before you drop them, you'll be shot." Cooper says, looking at the technicians nearest him, "So, get to droppin'." "You have fifteen breaths to do it, or I pull this trigger," Ruu says, leveling her pistol to aim at an area between the tech's eyes, between the tech's shoulders. Her aim doesn't waver much at all, and she even goes so far as to smirk lightly. Karem manages to ignore the man enough to sit at the console. "Touch me again, man, and I'll hurt you. Again, none of you will be harmed." Sliding his hand up the console, the armored man activates the ship's thrusters. With a groan, she begins moving forward, away from the rest of the museum and towards freedom. The intact Dreadnaught's engines activate with a roar, and a sudden blast of force is felt as the relative impact of that much thrust pushes the vessel forward. These technicians, loyal though they may be, are -not- soldiers. The sight of brandished weaponry and impending violence scares the vast majority of them into dropping their commlinks. One man just drops to the floor, covering his head. Another freezes with his commlink halfway to his lips, while a third looks around at the ship, seemingly amazed that she's moving. Aegis swings his rifle to cover the man with the raised commlink. "Don't do it," he commands. "You'd force me to shoot you and you wouldn't accomplish anything, anyway." Savossk, noticing that most of them drop their commlinks, then swivels the aim of the pistol so that it focuses on the same one that Aegis is aiming at. He says nothing. With both Aegis and Savossk on the one person who tried to use theirs, Cooper begins moving around, and kicking the dropped commlinks all into a pile near the door, and away from the technicians. "I think it's time for a public service announcement, commander," Ruu says toward the navicomp and its occupant. "Also, locking the ship down would be nice. Closing all the blast doors and such. Don't want anyone to come party with us, is all. I'm perfectly fine being in a clique." "I agree. Take care of it, Miss Ruu. I've a ship to..." There's a pause, Karem's eyes going wide. "Oh, sithspit. Imperial Star Destroyer, three thousand kilometers out and closing. She's directly in our path, and we are unarmed." The man leans forward, gripping the manual controls, and begins steering the lumbering craft downward. Aegis turns at Karem's statement. "Shit," he utters under his helmet. He moves over and grabs the commlink from the frozen man's hand, tossing toward the pile created by Cooper. "Get on the floor," he tells the man before looking to Cooper. "Things are about to get messy." Seeing the commlink taken from the man, Savossk slowly lowers the pistol. He growls softly under his breath, clenching his teeth together shortly aftwerwards. "I'll head to gunnery, see if I can't get the weapons working again." Cooper says, heading out of the bridge to where he saw the gunnery room on the way in, "Might not can do much against the ISD, but if they launcher fighters, I might can hold them at bay. Sav, come with me incase we have some unruly technicians." Ruu's eyes widen, and she curses under her breath as she rushes toward a nearby console. "Take care of these techies," she says to the rest of the group, beginning to attempt to close all of the blast doors, setting her pistol on a flat part of the console. One of the technicians looks over towards Karem, "He'll never get the weapons Activated. The power supply to the weapons system was totally severed, including the power to the tactical computer. Even if you could reactivate the systems, the computer's settings have been totally erased for safety reasons, so it wouldn't know how to lock on to another ship." "Lucky us." Karem then falls to silence for a moment before glancing over to Kash. "Get the comms online again, now. Maybe we can bluff our way out. If we can't, we've got three minutes to jump." As Kash moves over to activate the comms, Aegis moves to round up the technicians and herd them into a corner. "C'mon folks, I need you all over here. Now, there's a Star Destroyer bearing down on us, and she's not likely to ask questions before she blasts us out of the sky. If any of you have anything helpful to add before we all get destroyed, now's the time, people." Savossk pauses before he reaches the exit to the main corridor, taking note of the information just received from the technician. He slowly shifts his weight to one leg, sighing. Ruu's digits fly over the keyboard as she tries to access the protocols for locking down the ship's interior, to close all of the blast doors aboard the ship, including and especially the one leading to the bridge. Cooper pauses right at the door, "Bah." he says, turning to head back into the bridge, "Don't suppose there's any spacesuits around here so I can go stand on the hull and shoot my rifle at them?" he says, moving to man one of the operations consoles and do...something usefull. The same technician that spoke earlier moves to stand up, "I have an idea...", he says as another one tries to pull him back down, "You can't help them! They're stealing this ship!" Karem simply forces the lumbering vessel into a dive, knocking away the exterior scaffolding with a series of quiet clangs, and causing some ugly scoring on the exterior of the ship. "We'll get out of this yet. Two minutes to jump, and the ISD's only about a minute and a half from firing range." Aegis flicks his rifle to stun and fires a pair of stun bolts at the one who interrupted the helpful technician. "Like I said, now's the time to speak up, before that Star Desroyer comes over here and makes us all -dead-." he says to the man with the idea. Savossk stumbles slightly, grabbing onto a nearby console with one hand to maintain his balance. He curses in his native language, a grunt following it. As the bulkhead leading out into the corridor begins to slowly dissapear between two heavy sheets of durasteel, Ruu stands, taking her pistol with her. "Not much of a decision, here," she says to the room, "Your life for the Empire? Some old man thousands of kilometers from here is worth *your* life?" "Speak up." Cooper says to the one with the idea, then turns towards Karem, "That's thirty seconds if you can't out manuver them - which doesn't seem likely. Think we can hold up?" he says, while checking the console to make sure the shields are up, and if not, try to raise them if it's possible. The second techie slumps back as the stunbolts hit his torso. The first one pulls away from the collapsed man, shaking slightly, "Umm...yes. As I was going to say, they are probably here for an inspection, and probably shore leave as well. They don't expect anything to be wrong, so why don't you have one of us communicate with them? Tell them that we would be happy to let them come aboard for an inspection as soon as we finish one last engine test, which we unfortunitally we've already begun and can't stop without harming the equipment." "Make it so. If he says anything... impolite, kill him and I'll fly us out of here anyways. In the meantime, do try to get our shields up. I can't seem to do it, and we won't stand long with our hull alone." Though the situation is desperate, Karem is remaining fairly calm, given what's going on. Maybe it's the fact that he's piloting what amounts to a heavy cruiser. Aegis nods his head, his helmet bobbing as he does so. "I think you've just volunteered," he says, lowering his rifle and gesturing toward the communications console. "No warnings, no signals, no tricks," he states sternly from under the helmet as he leads the man to the workstation. Savossk quietly steps up towards the workstation, a few feet behind Aegis. He slowly brings the barrel of the pistol to aim at the technician. "Any trickz. You die." he growls simply. "I'm working on it." Cooper says, pausing to remove the gloves from his armor and place them in his lap, and then goes to work at the console, his fingers moving faster now that they're not impeded by gloves. Ruu stands by, idly, agitated. "I can't wait to get out of these clothes," she says. "In fact, I won't be satisified until I'm safely nestled in the bridge of the fastest ship in the galaxy." The human blinked a few times, before sighing, "Very well..." Slowly, he walked over to the viewscreen, glancing over his shoulder, "It would probably be best if the aliens weren't visible don't you think?" Aegis gestures to Savossk and Kash. "Let's not make this any harder than it has to be. Get out of sight over by the techies," he says, gently pushing Savossk's pistol away from the helpful technician's back. "Gah! Same thing as the weapons. We won't have shields for a while." Cooper says, still working at the console. Perhaps something usefull will get done. As opposed to watching the communicating techie like the other gun-waving rebels, Ruu moves to stand near Sav, covering the rest of them. Just to be sure, she says, "Everyone in an Imperial uniform here besides the Troopers and *you*," nodding to the comm tech, "Needs to move over here, before we move you ourselves." Savossk grunts angrily as Aegis touches his pistol. He takes a few steps back, moving to where he was directed to go. He drops his arms to his sides. The rest of the technicians do exactly as Ruu says, moving to the designated area and huddling together in fear. The man who stepped forward frowns slightly at the action, but doesn't verbally object. Finally, he turns back to the display screen and closes his eyes, breathing deeply, before speaking softly, "Ok, go ahead and hail them. Assuming you've turned the comm unit back on of course." Aegis lowers his rifle and stands at attention, looking as though he is overseeing a simple drill. He turns to look at Coop, checking that his helmet is on securely as he does so. "Coop, if you'll do the honors?" Cooper pauses at his work, replacing the gloves on his hands. He then goes back to work on the comm console, activating just the comms on the bridge. That done, he begins hailing the ISD. Ruu keeps quiet, but she makes very sure that all of the huddled techies can see her pistol should they look in her direction. Karem just keeps on flying. "One minute. Get cracking!" The ship has finished her dive, and looks to be heading towards open space away from the ISD's path. Savossk once again begins to even out his breaths, having started hyperventilating just moments ago. He stares out of the viewport, his eyes narrowing. The bridge's holoprojector crackles to life, showing the image of a crisply-uniformed Imperial officer; the captain of the ISD, so indicate his rank pips. "This is Captain Griffon of the Star Destroyer 'Annihilator'. What is happening over there?" he asks, his form all in distilled blue. Aegis waits expectantly, still at attention behind the technician. The technician clears his throat as the comm unit is activated, "Annihilator, this is Iron Hand. We're just running a quick final engine check before we set the ship in its birth for the Museum. As soon as we're done you and your crew are invited to come over on shore leave." Cooper remains silent now that a channel's open, letting the technician do the talking. His fingers keep moving over the board, however, as he operates other systems. Savossk makes no noise whatsoever at his position near the grouped technicians. Small droplets of sweat run down his scaly face. Ruu grits her teeth, watching the techies to make sure they don't make this conversation a short one. "I wasn't notified of this..." Griffon says, glancing over his shoulder to someone off-projection and nodding to them before turning back. "Test. Besides, what does a museum piece need with viable engines? You *may* abort your test, technician." Aegis remains standing at strict attention, though he watches the technician carefully, hoping the man won't crack under the pressure. "The engines have been prepped, we can't abort," he whispers to himself, hoping the man will stick to the plan. The technician shrugs slightly, "The Engineers said they detected a problem with the Engines, some kind of overload. They think they have fixed it, but they are afraid to shut them down, because they could fail to actually shut down and cause a cascade failure. So they want to run them to make sure they have the inbalance fixed before they are shut down." Cooper continues working at the console, however one of his hands is never too far away from the button to sever comms should the technician say anything...innapropriate. Savossk's grasp on the pistol tightens considerably, as this is very near the point of climax. He closes his eyes, again muttering some sort of incantation breathlessly. "... Right. Of course," Griffon says, the flurry of words obviously lost on him. "Well, I suppose a few more hours won't hurt anyone. Carry on." As the Captain speaks, one of the technicians that is held against the wall cries out, "Help us! They've taken over the ship!" Aegis swears beneath his helmet. "Cut the signal!" he hisses to Coop, bringing his rifle up and pointing it toward the group of technicians. He holds his fire, turning to Karem. "Get us out, now!" As the technician cries out, Cooper severs communications with ISD, then looks back towards the group, "Stun him!" he yells, then turns back towards the console. And stun him Savossk does. He takes a step forward from the group of technicians, quickly bringing the pistol to aim at the lone techie near the console. With a quick flick of one of his fingers, the setting is changed to stun; he then fires five stun bolts at the human. Griffon turns away, motioning for communications to be severed... and the shouts ring out. ""What was that? Technician, what the *hell* is going on over there?" He turns to his bridge, and says, "Get the tractor crews on standby-" before the holoproj cuts off abruptly. "Get us out of here!" Ruu shouts at the navicomp, before flicking her own pistol to stun and firing randomly into the crowd of techies. The technician who cried out slumps from Savossk's stunblasts, collapsing atop the other stunned one. The man who had been talking on the comm unit blinks and quickly turns towards the "imperials", "Please don't hurt them! Just let us go when you get wherever you're going!" Aegis turns to Ruu. "Hold your fire, Cap'n! The damage has been done," he states in frustration before turning to look at Karem at the nav console. "How long to the jump?" he asks with a glance toward the viewscreen, which now has the image of a rapidly approaching Star Destroyer on it. "I'm trying! Cooper shouts back, "We'll let you go - but not before we're safely away from the ISD. I hope you have some more ideas." he says, not looking away from the console, "We're almost there!" "They'll wake up," Ruu says. "Won't feel anything like a million bucks, but they'll wake up." She doesn't fire any more shots than she already has, though, dropping her aim. "Stunblasts and all." Aegis grabs the technician who was doing the communicating and steers him into one of the workstation seats. "Try and get some systems running, I don't care how," he says, pointing at the console before glancing up at the viewscreen. "Coop, Karem, we've only got seconds before she's in range. If you're waiting 'til the last minute, this is it!" A sigh of relief escape Cooper as the hyperdrive presses him back into his seat, "We made it." he says, "We'll jump a ways out, then once things calm down we'll send a shuttle to pick up the Sentinel, and let the crew wanting off off in the life pods. Though, I'd like the offer them the chance to join us." Aegis manages to catch himself on one of the consoles as the ship jumps into hyperspace. As the inertial dampeners kick in, he moves over to the helpful technician and pats him on the back. "Not bad, bud, not bad. We could use a few men like you," he states. "I'll understand if you want to return with the others," he says, gesturing toward the herd of technicians, "But I think we'd get along quite nicely." "Some of them, perhaps," Ruu says, glancing toward the comm officer. "I don't want to risk the Sentinel yet, though," she says. "Take us somewhere - middle of space. Then, jump again - we don't want to be followed. Then we can discuss things." The Technician shakes his head quickly, "I would rather stay with my comrads. I disagree with your rebellion, and only helped to protect myself and the others." Cooper nods at Ruu, "Sounds good to me. Maybe you can have one of crew on her pilot her," he suggests, still keeping the vessel in hyperspace. He glances at the technician, "Alright. And the others?" he says. Aegis looks to the group of technicians. "You got a brilliant idea for telling who's trustworthy and who's an Imp at heart?" he asks Cooper and Ruu. "I'm pretty sure we'd best dump the whole lot on the nearest planet." "Hold on," Cooper says, after having allowed ample time for the jump drive to recharge, he brings the vessels out of hyperspace, and begins turning her on another random course away from where they just came from, preparing her for another jump.
