They were now split into two groups —god alongside god— suggesting the upcoming farce would feature a tag team battle. On one side was the legendary union, comprised of a silver-haired phenom and a beast draped in ceremonial robes. The two had fought alongside one another for several generations, and together, had etched their names into history eternally. Opposing them on the other side was the dynamic father-daughter duo, encompassing strong Senju lineage; a man who required spectacles to see the world properly, and a voluptuous beauty unlike any other. The two had only recently come to a consensus, yet they found themselves standing beside one another —prepared for war.

  • They were now split into two groups —god alongside god— suggesting the upcoming farce would feature a tag team battle. The beauty of the hidden leaf looked toward her father, then back toward the opposing side, offering a dazzle of her crimson eyes. "Well now, shall we begin?" She inquired, honorably seeking the acceptance of both parties. With the use of her forsaken bloodline limit, she examined the tremendous aura radiating from Seireitou and Ryun as if it were second nature. For eyes that are so white and blank in their appearance, a heavy weight of darkness sat inside them. The average individual would probably never notice it, but to those that had encountered the evils of war and the treachery of mankind... knew this darkness all too well. Such could describe the sight of Seireitou Hyūga. The white-haired man, with his arms crossed across his chest, gazed intensely at the duo that had apparently called forth himself and his rival, Ryun, to this battlefield. They had truly made a name for themselves in the time they spent forging ahead in their separate paths, but that was nothing but an insignificant bauble in the eyes of Seireitou. Legends? No. Legendary was a word that described Seireitou and Ryun long ago; a time when these two danced to the tune of war and conflict among the nations as soldiers defending their souls. They had far surpassed such a status. These two were deities; no other word could possibly describe them at this point. Finally, the white-haired man chose to address the two facing them down. "Calling forth... Uchiha Ryun and Hyūga Seireitou to this place... I can't imagine what you were both thinking." he mused. “Well, you were fools for coming, but I guess I’m not the only blonde senju to tell you that,” Sannoto glared into the man’s blank eyes; he had become his stepfather of some sort in the past decade or two. He had married his mother, and it wasn’t a day that had passed where someone didn’t bring it up. The relationship between the two, while scarce due to Sannoto’s travels, was obviously filled with several witty jabs at one another. He had battled him before and even then he always belittled any type of game he had whether it was combat or romance related. Sannoto stood tall in the face of the two legendary shinobi while a rather sly grin crept upon his visage. He had seen the two in battle several times, and nearly each time he was on the losing end. However, the last battle between him and those two had turned out quite well. He didn't lose, but he surely didn't win either. Now was time to prove himself one last time. In contrast to the devoid nature of his rival's eyes, Ryun Uchiha's eyes were colored with intrigue. He couldn't, for the life of him, fathom why so many shinobi sought out combat with both himself and his eternal rival. For decades, the two had stood at the pinnacle of shinobi power and none dared to oppose them. As a newer generation of shinobi was ushered in, however, a hunger was born among the younger ninja to rise up and challenge the old powers for positions of glory, honor, and supremacy in an ever-changing shinobi world. Ryun had grown bored with such childish concepts, which had led to him almost declining Seireitou's invitation to fight Sannoto and his partner in open combat. The Shiroyasha alone was enough for the both of them, but Seireitou had insisted that Ryun join him and so he had reluctantly agreed. The man's eyes were rippled — he had long abandoned the simpler Sharingan in favor of the power of his Rinnegan. As he observed the exchange between Seireitou and Sannoto, he found himself quickly becoming annoyed. His rival had always retained his youthful tendency to make mockery of his opponent and the ever-arrogant Sannoto never missed an opportunity to retort. Ryun, however, was in no mood to joke and merely wanted to get on with it. "The only fools here are the ones shooting their mouths off at their seniors, both of whom have bested him in combat more than once before," Ryun snapped, shooting an icy glare at the Senju. He then glanced aside to his rival. "Him? You want me here to fight him and the red-eyed bimbo next to him? This is almost worst than the time you convinced me that sneaking into Master Shōyō's sake stash and stealing a bottle or two would earn his respect." It was clear that the Uchiha's annoyance was comical; he could never seem to keep a straight face around his rival, no matter how many times the two tried to kill each other. He supposed he would never fully understand the bond the two of them shared. Sighing at the thought, he cast off and aside his traveling robes, revealing a very highly specialized armor. The armor was light, both in weight and coloration, but was sturdy: Ryun had invented it after growing tired of his injuries during combat with Seireitou. Though he didn't say it, his eyes said it all: he was ready for combat. He had grown tired of words. Sayuri for one, had no desire to add fuel to the flame war. Taking a few steps forward, she rested her hand against Sannoto's shoulder, consulting the man, and at the same time, reminding him that the Senju were of the upper class; they did not succumb to such childish behavior. With a meaningful first step, Sayuri took to a full stride, charging towards the deities on her own. Upon reaching the halfway mark of the open field, she suddenly leaped high into the sky, before coming down upon the face of the earth with a high voltage of chakra concentrated in her right heel, resulting in an astounding fissure of the sorts. The ground beneath her gave way instantaneously as a result of her monstrous strength, and large boulders were lifted from their homes and scattered every which way. What seemed to be the afterimage of Tsunade appeared during the duration of the assault, overlapping Sayuri as if serving as a reminder to those present that she had constructed her efforts based off the teachings of the fifth. In reality, however, Sayuri had greatly surpassed Tsunade, both in the regards of strength and and overall power. The earthquake that took place would have worked to disrupt the movements of the others by throwing them off balance, even if it were just for a moment. All at once, Sayuri concentrated her chakra towards the moisture in the atmosphere, forcing it to abide to her command; a rain comprised of kunai commenced, preparing to slice those that had been caught off balance. It was a far cry from her father's metal prowess, though the durability of each kunai knife made them incredibly hard to deflect through average means, and the consistency made it almost virtually impossible to simply evade, as there were many coming down from each given angle. It didn't even take an actual movement to alert Seireitou that one of his opponents was about to engage in combat. This was an instinct, not born of dōjutsu, but out of the sheer experience forged from a lifetime of war. Furthermore, it was thanks to Seireitou's deep understanding of human nature combined with the Byakuya's impeccable ability to read a target's mere expression and derive a limitless degree of knowledge that made it almost impossible for any opponent to catch him off-guard. And at the very instant that Sayuri managed to launch herself off the ground, Seireitou had already readied himself to respond. What appeared to be some sort of black substance began to appear beside Seireitou and encircled his body for a moment, before snapping apart from its uniform state and disappearing like that of a risen mist; however, the intention for calling forth this substance had already been successfully completed. Once he noticed the trajectory of Sayuri as she reached her highest point and began her descent — which, judging by the way she had risen her leg, meant she had planned to deliver some sort of kick into the ground, more than likely to cause some sort of ploy to distract them; perhaps to use as an "opening act" for a follow-up attack — the silver-haired shinobi was able to instantaneously predict where she'd land upon hitting ground. Of course, there was a reasonable margin of error — as intelligent in both strategy and human nature as he was, Seireitou was not a mathematical genius of any sort — but there was no clear sign of Sayuri making any attempt to throw off the momentum of her descent, which only solidified Seireitou's theory regarding where exactly she would land. That information made it possible for Seireitou to respond appropriately to Sayuri's attack. As she descended, Seireitou had held his hand outwards toward the spot she was to land with her kick — one he recognized as being a technique that Sayuri shared with the great Lady Tsunade — and fired off a black rod, forged from the substance that encircled him during Sayuri's initial kick-off, when she would've been far more preoccupied with her launch to have noticed Seireitou's own action, which traveled immediately for a spot roughly less than ten centimeters where he predicted Sayuri would land and struck the ground hard. So much so did it strike the ground that it instantly shattered into a liquid state, which when Sayuri struck the ground hard and caused the earth itself to shatter; this action allowed the black substance to hide within the crevices and move about in accordance with Seireitou's whim. Of course, the actual attempt to throw off the duo's balance was misguided in and of itself. Two masters of the shinobi wars, forged from a life of war, thrown off by this... little tremor? Only a fool would not have understood that this was nothing but an attempt designed to distract them from something. And if the distraction was from down below, then the actual attack... was definitely going to come from above. Seireitou's Byakuya immediately picked up on the shifting of chakra in the atmosphere, and upon noticing the downpour of kunai forged from Sayuri's jutsu, the silver-haired man rose his hand upwards without even bothering to turn his head. Erupting from his hand's centre, arose countless fists shaped out of potent chakra that all flew upwards in a barrage of punches that would undoubtedly shatter apart these flimsy little weapons. These were fists once used by the Rabbit Goddess herself to strike down an Uchiha's powerful Susanoo, after all; measly kunai could never stand up to such a relentless storm of attacks, especially when utilized by Kaguya's successor. This would ensure, not only Seireitou and Ryun's safety, but also that her attack would be neutralized as the chakra fists would not stop until every single kunai was crushed to naught but dust. And as the kunai were being struck down by these chakra fists, within the very same instant, it was then that Seireitou's first move was able to come to light. The black substance used the disturbance made by Sayuri upon the ground to move about, like a river swerving around the rocks in its path, and sprung upwards due to the close proximity; surrounding Sayuri on all sides and attempting to devour her completely. Since this occurred at the same time she was creating her kunai storm, which was the very moment Seireitou himself responded with his chakra fists, she would have been undoubtedly preoccupied with the creation of her jutsu and would have a split attention that would cost her dearly in this moment. That black substance, which encircled her, rushed to consume her. It was during this time that Seireitou made the only movement of his head during this entire engagement, turning to face his Uchiha rival with his narrowed Byakugan eyes. "I hope you haven't gotten sloppy after our fight, you bastard. I'm not going to carry your weight, after all." he mused. Despite the crude words he used, his tone of voice was consistent with the playful provoking these two were known to throw at one another whenever forced to work together. Seireitou hadn’t been the only one preparing his assaults and counterattacks upon Sayuri’s first move; the Senju man had begun molding their chakra upon that instant when his daughter placed her hand upon his shoulder. Bonded by blood, the two’s chakra signatures were exceptionally similar thus a chakra link between them was fairly easy to establish. He was indeed younger in age, but experience was another thing. Sure, he hadn’t accumulated it all by himself, but other people had. Skills came easy to him despite their complexity and when told about historic events, he would more or less remember the events rather than learn them entirely. Within a second, Seireitou’s black substance leaped from the cracks towards Sayuri; Sannoto’s reaction was as instantaneous as any father’s. He took hold of the mutual energy surging between the father and daughter, commanding it to move. It responded immediately just as it normally had. The condensed magical energies exploded from Sayuri’s bodies and seemingly consumed her like a fungus, growing rapidly and thickly until nothing but a big blob of natural energy infused chakra shrouded her body. The black substance lept onto the rather unexpected aura, sliding off afterwards like a leech on a tree. Snapping his fingers with his other hand, the leftover debris from the metal kunai seemed to take form as a kind of powder almost. He weaved his energies within his own body and the metal powder imitated the flow like the ocean follows the moon. With a swift gesture, he willed the golden powder in a circular motion at extreme velocities. The cyclone of metal particles screeched as it spun tightly around the Hyuga and the Uchiha; a barrier that would easily rip any mortal to shreds if they chose to dive through it normally. Sparks shot off from the powder’s collisions with one another——"Cover your eyes, Sayuri. Magnesium burns..."—— the powder ignited and within seconds light was brought upon the earth. The aura of chakra would hopefully protect Sayuri's eyes from such devastation, but for now Sannoto and hopefully the duo would be subject to the same fate; the screeches from the cyclone would cause a rather discomfort audibly and visually their eyes would be fried. Without using the chakra for the ignition or without proper mention that the original kunais were composed of magnesium, Sannoto conducted his attack discreetly to make it near unpredictable. Despite the erratic nature of the attack, both Ryun and Seireitou emerged unmoved and unscathed, completely encased within the crimson aura of the Uchiha's Susanoo. Ryun had only needed to summon a rudimentary form to block both the attack and the eye-endangering ignitions. Of the pair, Ryun looked the most indifferent, adopting the posture of his ancestor by folding his arms against his chest. "Honestly," Ryun mused, muttering more to himself than his opponents. "It is as though they didn't consider I'd expect an attack on our eyes." With an exasperated huff, the veteran Uchiha leaped upwards, carrying with him his Susanoo avatar which rapidly expanded into the towering form it so often assumed in combat — the Complete Body form. Anymore, Ryun dispensed with the pleasantries in combat. Experience had taught him that he would learn more about his enemy if he pressed them with his fully might rather than test them out with smaller attacks, or end up killing them: either result being acceptable in combat. He kept Seireitou enshrouded in the foot-portion of the immense construct, a minor preparation for his next attack. Kneading power into one of the many black spheres floating behind him, Ryun expanded the sphere into a comparable size to the behemoth surrounding him, where it was then abruptly consumed with a gale of sparkling powder. "This is how you blind your enemies." Ryun hissed, tossing the attack high into the air. The Sage Art: Wind Release Glittering Truth-Seeking Ball erupted with a light that consumed land and sky with an intensity that would no doubt burn the retinas of all unfortunate enough to witness it. Floating within the safety of his Susanoo, however, Ryun could see everything crystal clear, hoping the distraction would allow his silver-haired partner to seize an opening and use it for their advantage. The Uchiha, on the other hand, kept his gaze trained on his two opponents: watching and studying. Her father had managed to protect her moments earlier --it was now Sayuri's turn to repay the debt. The cloak of natural energy which she had been provided with by Sannoto himself, allowed the women to witness the battle in great detail, despite the sudden appearance of blinding light created by his metal powders colliding with one another. While the effects of Ryun's Truth-Seeking Ball may have been considerably more powerful than that of Sannoto's gold dust, the aura still managed to protect the women's eyes from harm yet again, and thereafter allowing her to examine the context of the assault in full. There was nothing more foul than the chakra of the Mangekyō Sharingan, and prior to the ball's eruption, Sayuri instantly detected the presence of Ryun's Susanoo, which she then concluded was the solution to the problem they had found themselves within. Cautious of the black venom that had tried to possess her earlier, Sayuri summoned her own susanoo within it's armored state, the right hand of which appeared behind Sayuri and around Sannoto, encasing the man within the security of its vicinity. The black color of the women's avatar further aided in repelling the effects of the bright light, though the most important part of this all was the point that the the father daughter duo had managed to counter the light and thereby neglect Seireitou's opportunity to catch them off guard. The two were certainly a handful right from the get-go, and to better adjust to whatever they planned on throwing at them next, Sayuri activated the holy power of the rinnegan within both of her eyes, and all at the same time, tracking Seireitou's movement in particular, ensuring he did not slip away from her sight. However, the problem concerning the Truth-Seeking Ball still remained. They were powerful assets to the user by all means, Sayuri had known their ability far too well --something that came along with the fact that she too was able to wield them as a weapon. However, they were practically useless before those that possessed metallic abilities to go along with excellent chakra control; such was the case with her father and herself. Without lifting so much as a single finger, let alone diverting the focus of her eyes, Sayuri encased the dazzling Truth-Seeking Ball in a thick layer of iron, before exerting the frequencies of her chakra to the utmost limit, resulting in a chakra explosion that took with it both the ball and the coating of iron. Intense light, emanating from the explosion caused by Sayuri, reflected in the cold Byakugan eyes of Seireitou as he observed the event. In response to this event, he could only let out a rather ominous chuckle; a mere faint trace of laughter meant only for his own ears, as if he was entertaining himself with watching as his opponents struggled against his and Ryun's efforts thus far. "Children tend to get so excited when they see a chance to seize the upper hand... These flashy techniques get so old after a while." he thought to himself, slowly levitating into the leg of the Susanoo that his rival had forged to carry both himself and the silver-haired man. As he did so, a powerful aura of chakra began leaking out from his person, permeating through the layer of the Susanoo's body and wrapping around it like clothing. By the time Seireitou's body reached the point where the Susanoo's thigh met its waist, the structure of this giant specter had been transformed. Having adorned the chakra structure with the power of his Kaguyahime technique, he combined his chakra with Ryun and the result was this: an amalgamation of their powers combined in earnest, forming a Susanoo in the shape of a large blade-wielding woman adorned in armor. Having linked their thoughts and power together, this also meant they could both manipulate this entire structure; a dangerous idea when one considers how well these two work together, despite their intense rivalry. But even more so, this meant that Seireitou could access Ryun's own enlarged Gudōdama. This, however, would have to wait. Once he levitated to the waist of the newly-forged structure, he widened his arm's range and stretched out his hands, gesturing outwards toward the land around them. In that instant, the remainder of the black mass that had failed to seize Sayuri earlier had been hiding away beneath the ground — a mere fraction of its potency from before, courtesy of Sannoto's efforts — however, for the task it was now meant for, it would suffice. The black mass began to move in a flowing circular manner, forming a ring which then expanded upwards and began to transmute into what appeared to be a crown of spikes which had been suspended in this shape. What happened next was a reflection of Ryun's earlier move: the black mass began to glow brightly as its blackness was smothered by white light, due to the same substance being applied through a similar technique. Originally, this light is meant to blind its enemies, but it carried a far darker intent. This was light imbued with another technique of Seireitou's own — a power which allows him to penetrate minds. "Ryun and I have merged both our minds and our abilities together in this combination of Susanoo and Kaguyahime. That light is intertwined with the Benzaiten technique, and if the light manages to penetrate their eyes even for a moment, thanks to our union, Ryun will instantly be able to seize them with the power of his Rinnegan. At that point... It will be game over." His reasoning was sound. No matter how strong these two possibly were, there would be no way to fend off a dōjutsu from both Seireitou's Byakugan and Ryun's Rinnegan when their eyes are working together. But Sayuri's Susanoo, much like Ryun's own, could shield them from the light of the scale powder. In order to penetrate their minds and conquer them, Susanoo would have to be torn down. And torn down, it would be. By the time Seireitou had now levitated to the upper chest of the Susanoo construct, the next step of his plan had already began. "I'm going to borrow this..." Seireitou rose his arms and imposed his will onto one of the large Gudōdama surrounding the Susanoo. Of course, this was merely a formality, for the two rivals had already made it possible to share one another's power. The black sphere began to bend and snap — catching fire as its coloration turned into a smooth pink — transmuting it into a new substance. After all, these spheres carried each of the elemental natures within them, including Yin and Yang; turning one of them into a jutsu, even one that is not inherently elemental, was child's play. In doing so, the large black orb began to take on the appearance of a massive tsunami of a pink substance — one that was instantly recognizable as the Six-Tails' technique, albeit in a liquid state rather than a gaseous state — which began to spread outwards, as it was suspended in midair. Its mere presence, which caused the very air to heat up, demonstrated that its acidity would be more than sufficient in burning away the Susanoo's armor; as another powerful person had once done to a Susanoo user in the past. Seireitou had eventually reached the forehead, standing beside that of Ryun himself, as he took a martial art stance and began to swiftly move his arms around as though he were performing a kata. His movements were like the water itself. And this was meant to guide and control the massive wave of corrosive liquid acid that he had created, as though it were an extension of his body, causing it to expand outwards to a volume matching the size of Sayuri's own Susanoo as it attempted to overwhelm her and Sannoto as though it were a tidal wave attempting to wipe out a town. Should the corrosive wave make contact, it would undoubtedly render that girl's Susanoo to a smoldering chaos, and in the process, the light aiming to seize control of them would manage to make its way through. And it would be the end of this fight. In the process of doing so, Seireitou maintained his stance so as to attack Sayuri and Sannoto with the acid wave. "I'll handle your Gudōdama and keep these two on their toes... So it'll be up to you to control our construct here and crush them with force." he had spoken, facing out toward the enemies, but obviously addressing Ryun who stood beside him. The battlefield was littered with light, but such thing didn’t pass through Sayuri’s protective Susanoo. His daughter’s hand encased his body; first order of business would be to reach her in the main compartment of the vessel. Naturally, the Senju was unsure of the purpose behind the light. Ryun had already attempted to blind them earlier, but he used a simple chakra technique to do so. This time, that black substance had shot out from the ground, spun around and began to glow. This was a much more complicated process than before, thus the Senju’s suspicions were naturally higher than before. As he inspected the situation, he quickly moved towards the very center of the Susanoo where Sayuri lay to ensure maximum protection from such light, however bigger problems other than the light threatened him. A tsunami approached their protective shroud threatening to consume them entirely. “I’d never imagine he’d use this technique on us. You should know better,” the Senju murmured to himself. Slamming his palm on the earth, he let out a deafening roar as he conjured up his magical energies. The chakra shot from his palm like that of a wave, turning the earth itself into a sea of liquid mercury. The wave of acid soon found no hold to continue moving and lost shape, plummeting into the sea where the Senju’s chakra flowed freely, turning anything touched it into more mercury to fuel his massive ocean; the black glowing mass was soon swallowed up inadvertently from Sannoto’s defense from the other attack and was to destroyed, the light disappeared from the battle within the blink of an eye and the battlefield was now of a substance that he could control himself. The Susanoo rested upon a platform of hardened liquid mercury suspended slightly above the sea. Sannoto glared towards the duo with a rather sly grin, “We aren’t that easy to take down you know?” As he spoke his words, his hands inevitably found themselves slammed against one another. He weaved the chakra within his body and placed them on the walls of the Susanoo. Within moments, a thick layer of Platinum took form around Sayuri’s chakra construct. Natural energy coursed alongside it, ensuring maximum protection just in case they planned on using that truth seeking ball for something. Sannoto had witnessed such a thing during the Fourth Shinobi World War, thus the weakness of the technique was quite well known. Fortunately for Sayuri, Sannoto’s very existence half natural energy due to a fusion with a specific being. The Senju addressed the Hyuga and Uchiha, his voice boomed across the terrain with every word that he spoke: “I guess you aren’t as good as you thought you were.” He knew how easily Ryun grew irritable which could prove to either be a good or bad thing. Taking advantage of your opponent’s emotions was definitely a key factor to winning some battles if not all fights. “So, I just suggest you to return to what you do best; killing one another. It seems that you two only look good when you fight eachother. Obviously, that’s because if two people suck equally, then they’re bound to look good, I guess. To me, you guys are just worn out old guys, but eh who cares about the opinion of a seasoned veteran, hero of Konoha, child of the legendary Sannin, father of one of Konoha’s most revered shinobi and the pupil of Hiruzen,” the Senju addressed sarcastically. “Now, come on and show us what you can do, Ryun. That is if you have anything up your sleeve, or are you going to let Seireitou do all the work?” The smirk that formed across Ryun's face, as Sannoto finished his taunt, was nothing short of murderous, sending waves of cold chakra through the air. It wasn't an offensive technique, merely the response to the feelings bubbling forth from deep within the Uchiha's chest. A slight, throaty cackle rose from the depths of the man's chest. He wasn't a child on the battlefield. Those days had long since left him. He could see Sannoto's gesture for what it was: a taunt meant to provoke him into attacking irrationally and presenting an opening to exploit. The folly of such an action was that, to an experienced veteran of battle, such as Ryun, that tactic, in and of itself, exposed a very vital bit of information… and that bit of information only made the grin on Ryun's face curl sadistically. Deliberately fishing for an opening meant that Sannoto and, by extension, Sayuri, had none they could exploit. Delicious, the Uchiha thought, swiping his tongue across his upper lip. As his chakra grew colder, the armor of Ryun's Susanoo, which was currently covering Seireitou's Kaguyahime, sprouted a tremendous pair of wings, which emerged with such force that the very ground beneath the two rivals began to buckle and cave. Ryun dug deep within himself, finding the deepest possible well of his unfathomable power and let it roar from a slight flicker into a roaring flame. It was an action he rarely took, even when fighting Seireitou, because the devastation it inflicted was scarring to the land: something he wanted to avoid in most cases. But Sannoto had revealed how powerless he truly was against the pair and Ryun was going to exploit that. Every. Delicious. Second of it. The power that burst forth from the center of Ryun's being was nothing short of monumental, shredding the very earth around the combatants with the force of a nuclear detonation. The sky itself seemed to answer to Ryun's power, whipping itself into a frenzied tempest which began to spread his devastation for miles, until a tremendous scar was left in the earth below. All of this with just his chakra. …and then the chakra behemoth jumped. Making use of its newest pair of wings, the combination of his and Seireitou's chakra flew upwards until it had gained a sufficient position in the sky above, at which point, a single swipe of its wings obliterated the clouds surrounding them: clearing the heavens. When Ryun finally dared to reply to Sannoto's taunt, the Tonbogiri and Wanyūdō were beginning to form within the massive chakra construct's hands, made from the impressive power of Ryun's Truth-Seeking Balls. Sannoto may have had natural energy, and both he and Sayuri may have seen this technique once before, but if either of them thought in the least that information would grant them some manner of advantage, well, then they had better begin making funeral preparations... assuming there was anything left of their bodies left to bury. "Young fool," Ryun's voice finally boomed through the heavens, his Rinnegan now blazing in the light of the sun. "If your talent and power was as great as your diarrhea of the mouth, you would have already won this fight. Only the young and truly stupid taunt opponents with twice their military experience and expect an opening to present itself. But by all means, please show me this veteran experience of yours! Stand up with all your might and don't you dare disappoint me!" By this point, Ryun's speech was coming of as almost gleeful as he felt the rush of the fight finally flowing freely through his veins. "Come! Come with that determination you so proudly wear and make me eat my words if you desire to crush me so much! Our kinds were born to fight one another! So fight!" Ryun held his ground. He was in complete control. Despite Sannoto's taunts, he followed Seireitou's lead, allowing his rival to coordinate the attacks on the ground while he manipulated the defensive structure. The moment the silver-haired man provided the adequate opening, he would mercilessly slaughter the Senju and his daughter as well. It was Sannoto's fault, after all. Challenging two rivals who knew each other better than the swords in their own hands brought with it an understanding and advantage that the Senju would never best, no matter his efforts. Sayuri simply cringed with excitement in response to Ryun's growing interest. She couldn't help but mirror his emotions --was this they way of the Uchiha? Whatever the reasoning behind it was, the sudden rush of adrenaline that accompanied her now was something she hadn't felt in a long time. Even so, it was differed drastically than previous times; almost as if the opportunity to clash against these titans had brought out the very best in her. It was the Will of Fire, the Will to Win --no, it was definitely something more intriguing. Looking beside her, she finally absorbed the essence of the situation. It was for her father; with him by her side, she simply couldn't lose. Moreover, she didn't want to lose. It was almost as if her feelings were amplified by his mere presence alone. She had sacrificed a major portion of her life to please him in the past, and this was her chance. There was no better way to prove one's worth than in the heat of battle. Even if it took every ounce of her being and more, Sayuri clung to her desperation. It was almost as if she was a kid again --the desire to compete against the very best. As a smirk appeared across the face of the opposing Uchiha clansmen, Sayuri anticipated his next move through the use of her Negative Emotions Sensing. She had never quite felt something like it ever before; it was the absolute pinnacle of darkness, and judging she herself possessed the power of the Nine Tailed Demon Fox, such a discovery was extraordinary. However, it was an advantage towards Sayuri. The more Ryun powered up, the easier it became for Sayuri to determine his whereabouts, and to a certain extent, predict his movements. The chakra emitting from the Susanoo was all too familiar, and Sayuri knew what awaited her down the line. The two had wasted no time in exhibiting their power; it was finally time for the Senju to free themselves of their training equipment. However, still yet, Ryun and Seireitou appeared to be on a level of their own. A level of power that hadn't been seen quite possibly since even before the Warring States Period. The two had classified themselves not as legends, but rather, as deities. So far, they had only been able to fight on even terms with one another; god against god. In that case, for her to be taken seriously, Sayuri would have to ascend to godhood. Sayuri smiled under the pressure of the severe circumstances. She had never been so happy in her entire life. She looked toward her father, who was revered as the God Slayer (神の殺者, Kami no Satsusha). Fate was on their side, no matter how one looked at it. Sayuri's confidence was at an all time high. She couldn't even begin to imagine herself losing. The seal on her forehead gave way, spreading an array of thick black lines across the entirety of her curvaceous body. Similar markings appeared on the dark frame of her Susanoo, though these were particularly difficult to see visually, only because both her chakra and seals happened to be the same black color. Additionally, by passively absorbing the shroud of nature Sannoto had provided her with earlier, Sayuri entered an enhanced state of being, regarded as Sage Mode. In correspondence, a thin orange layer appeared over both her eyes, suggesting she had undergone a transformation akin to a frog. In truth, however, it was far greater than the ordinary Sage Mode, as it had been further refined by Sannoto --and Kurama. For the duration of the battle, the Kyuubi had been gathering natural energy at an astounding rate; his feet crossed, his hands clasped. The construct around Sayuri and Sannoto suddenly began to change form. What was formerly the form of Sayuri's armored Susanoo took on an entirely new persona; first and foremost, beneath the coat of armor appeared an avatar of Kurama itself, forcing Sayuri's susanoo into it's perfect stabilized form in order to wear it like an additional layer of skin. The entire construct took on a drastic altercation in terms of appearance, most notable of which were: a set of wings, two additional pairs of arms, totally six in total, and nine demon tails, all of which thrusted back and forth in a wild frenzy, longing for battle. That, along with the natural energy that had been supplied by two tailed beast --Kurama and Sannoto-- alongside the strength of a hundred seal markings and her father's platinum, pushed the establishment to god like power in it's own right, something even the great Ryun and Seireitou would have had to acknowledge. The nine tails of the phenom planted themselves into the earth, before the entire structure took to the skies, destroying a massive chunk of the island they had previously been inhabiting. As the opposing Susanoo appeared in the skies, Sayuri and Sannoto were there to confront it, preparing for the ultimate clash. In one set of arms, the massive construct began to weave together a pair of hand signs, in the other, it carefully forged together a pair of katana, and in the final set, two large shields. In the instant that Sayuri and Sannoto, courtesy of their over-amped Susanoo, began to ascend to the skies to meet where their opponents were waiting for them, Seireitou had already put in motion his move; one that would remind these two Senju who they were dealing with. Once they launched off the ground and caused the earth beneath them to shatter, the truth of the danger that had been hidden there was about to be revealed. A massive cage composed of red flames, in the shape of an oval that walled in the Susanoo construct from all sides, shot straight into the skies as the clouds in its path were scorched away on contact. Sannoto made a grave error earlier, when he assumed that the mere use of his metallic ninjutsu would be enough to subdue both the truth-seeking ball borrowed from Ryun and the black substance of similar composition used to project the bright light; both of which had been carrying the will of Seireitou himself. This was the will of the Shiroyasha — the transmigrant and successor of Princess Kaguya — he would never be subdued so easily, much less by a man carrying a fragment of that woman's ancestry. That truth-seeking ball, controlled by the silver-haired man's will, had now formed a ring underground and began the mixing together of chakra natures from within itself. Of course, this was merely the first of his mistakes. The second, which was exploited by this wall of red flames born of the Scorch Release — an act made possible by the truth-seeking ball borrowed from his Uchiha rival that hid below the ground, having been ready to act from the moment Sannoto tried to swallowed it and Seireitou's own similar substance through his metallic ninjutsu, and its potential in allowing the free merging of elemental natures — was that he wrapped his daughter's Susanoo in a protective layer of platinum. Although chakra may have a questionable boiling point, in that it is both energy and a physical substance due to the two energies that comprise its being, platinum has a rather specific boiling point. And of course, Seireitou was no fool when it came to the chemical disciplines. This was a piece of knowledge that did not escape his wisdom. Being in this cage of scorching flames that emitted an intense heat from all sides, guided by the will of the silver-haired man, the platinum would undoubtedly begin to heat up and begin its phase transition into a hot metallic liquid. One should not underestimate the capabilities of the Scorch Release. It was composed of fire and wind natures. And thanks to its wind nature, the direction at which its heat is emitted can be controlled and manipulated to create, not only insanely hot flames, but heavily efficient in that all of its heat could be directed toward a single target: particularly, the center, where Sayuri and Sannoto floated in the Susanoo. Of course, total phase shift of the platinum covering wasn't necessary. In fact, all that was necessary was to cause enough of it to melt partially in order to, not only make the insides of the Susanoo inhumanly unbearable due to the incredible heat, but also to cause the solid structure of Susanoo to weaken somewhat — even with Sayuri's enhancements, she would be forced to do whatever possible to prevent her Susanoo from melting apart from not only the heat but the ridiculously heated solid-liquid platinum. "I must say, Sannoto-kun..." the voice of Seireitou could be heard within the cage of red flames, an extension of his ability to project his chakra, as though it resounded from above like the word of god itself. "Your mouth is almost as big as your daughter's tits. But I must commend you for being such a devoted father. Caring for your daughter, protecting her, and standing by her side... Now you can die together, as a family should." his chilling tone of voice filled the cage of flames, before the black substance, that which had been waiting underground as the truth-seeking ball was used to create this scorching fire cage, had erupted from below. Just as before, it too began to change form into the same acid that Seireitou attempted to attack their Susanoo with earlier; reflecting the earlier strategy but with a new twist. He wasn't planning to use its corrosive properties to melt through Susanoo this time. No, this time... The acid's target was the cage of flames itself. In this liquid state, it was far more flammable, which only made it possible for his strategy to be enacted. Like a blanket, the acid stretched itself out and struck at each part of the circular oval cage, and immediately caught on fire as flames spread wildly from below and began to rise upwards through the cage, with the intent on swallowing up the Susanoo with Sannoto and Sayuri inside it. In this situation, their metallic ninjutsu would be useless against such high levels of heat, giving them very few options. As the flames rose, an explosion from within the cage rocked the land as flames smashed apart both land and sky; heaven and earth themselves were rendered asunder by this massive explosion. And the glow from such an event reflected in the Hyūga's cold Byakugan as a sadistic smirk was etched onto his face. He was enjoying himself — absolutely loving the murderous scene he had created. But even if it weren't to work, he had now set the stage for his Uchiha rival to finish them.
