The Advozsec were evolved from herbivorous reptile-analogs which fed on the vegetation known to form around the planet Riflor's hot springs. Developing into a class of sentient reptomammal, Advozsec had a male and female gender that mated for life and had a potential to lay a single egg every four years. Gestating for three months, Advozsec eggs were hard and chitinous, resembling a spiked orb. Using their horns to break through the shell, Advozsec youth emerged resembling their adult self in miniature. Standing on two legs, a full-grown Advozse stood an average of 1.5 meters tall. The two large, black eyes of the Advozsec were adaptations to the clouds of volcanic ash which darkened Riflor's skies. Though they were most comfortable in the naturally dim light of their homeworld, Advozsec could adjust to levels of light found on other worlds with minimal discomfort. Completely herbivorous, the back of their mouth was lined with grinding teeth and their stomachs could not digest animal protein. Nevertheless, they had sharp teeth at the front of their mouth used to crack open the tough skins of the fleshy vropta vinepods. Two thin, pointed ears protruded from the sides of their head and were adept at perceiving sounds in underground locations after years of evolving underground. Oxygen-breathers, a small round nose with two nostrils was positioned above their mouth, capable of filtering the soot-filled air on their homeworld. As Riflor was geologically unstable with frequent volcanic eruptions, the geothermal hot springs that appeared on their homeworld forced the species to evolve thick skin in order to survive. This trait served them well off-world as it protected them from air-borne pollutants and hostilities.
