| - Steve Moore (November 6, 1958 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Carrollton, GA. He competed in eighteen Nextel Cup Series events in his career, racing part-time between 1977 and 1988. Moore struggled with his independent team, failing to finish in the top-fifty in points any year and failing to finish any races in the top-ten. His best finish, in fact, was a 13th at Atlanta in 1983.

- Moore's first job after leaving school at the age of 16 was as a flour grader at teh Rank Hovie McDougall laboratory in Deptford. A following job as an office boy at Odhams Press (a subsidiary of IPC) led to his becoming a junior sub-editor on Pow! and Fantastic comics three months later. The two comics reprinted strips from Marvel Comics, for whom he would later work. Moore became a freelance writer in 1972. He wrote the first of Tharg's Future Shocks and was involved in the creation of Fortean Times magazine.
