  • The Imperial General Staff was the command staff of the Imperial Military under the Sith Empire. It worked along side the Spheres of Military Offense, Military Strategy, and Defense of the Empire to manage the military. However, since those three groups were exclusively run by Sith while the General Staff consisted of non-Sith officers, there was a fierce rivalry between them. The General Staff had command of the military while the three spheres oversaw it and could give orders to them based on their planning. The Sith Emperor encouraged such rivalry to prevent a potential coup d'état against him, but this often caused inefficiency in the military.
