The Giagantes who survived the initial battle fled Zeus and Herakles (riding in his own chariot) chased after them. Zeus struck Emphytos with a lightning bolt and Herakles finished him off by shooting Agasthenes with one of his arrows that had been dipped in Hydra blood.
