As Dwarves were masters of integrating in mannish society while still staying among their own kind and keeping up their own old traditions many Dwarves indeed spoke with a strong dunnish accent (Balin son of Fundin, Dwálin son of Fundin, Gloin and Gimli son of Glóin had all lived in Dunland for long times).
