The Hyper Wasp is the Hyper Yo-Yo adaptation of Playmaxx's popular Turbo Bumble Bee. As with the Turbo Bumble Bee, the Hyper Wasp features a modified body shape, a ball bearing axle for long spin times, and a Brake Pad response system. Instead of the black and yellow color scheme typical of the Turbo Bumble Bee, the Hyper Wasp comes in a variety of semi-translucent colors. Compared to the Hyper Loop, it is a significant step-up. The ball bearing also allowed for some of the basic sleeper tricks to be performed on the yo-yo.
