When you wear the full set, (The helmet, the chestplate, the tassets, the boots, the gauntlets and the warhammer); you achieve a special set effect which slightly boosts your damage and accuracy when using the "Crush" attack style, depending on how close you are to death; the lower your LP, the bigger the boost is. This set effect, along with the special attack and the weapon's large Strength bonus, makes the Bandosian warhammer one of the most sought-after weapons in the game.
