Synopsis
  • Captain Cold breaks Flash out of the police station jail cells. Flash no longer has his speed. They escape the police station and go in search of a way out of their current situation. Flash theorizes that they are in a parallel universe or time. In the meantime, several police are pinned down by a sniper names Plunder. Plunder's boss, Thinker, gives him three more targets. Flash and Captain Cold go to Jay Garrick's house, only it is no longer Jay Garrick's place. Joan lives there with another man. Captain Cold keeps the man busy while Flash talks to Joan. She tells Flash that Jay is dead. Jay never had super-speed. Instead, he joined the Army. As a result, no one ever gained super speed. Cold and Flash visit Jay Garrick's grave and then they discover that Central City has been nearly destroyed by all the crime. Flash notices that Cold has been holding his gun in his left hand even though he is right-handed. Flash susses out that they are in a mirror world. At that moment, Barry Allen appears with a squad of cops.
