Later on, Sherry read a story to the children and David answered some questions from the kids. One boy asked about his playing basketball for Georgetown, noting that his father believed "Georgetown sucks." The boy's father also had said that there would never be a black president. David told the boy he planned to prove his father wrong. Frank Ames called immediately afterwards and announced that, due to Carl Webb's nefarious plans with George Ferragamo, he was washing his hands of Palmer's campaign. ("Day 1: 9:00am-10:00am") David called Carl and told him to come to the school to meet him in person. In the cafeteria, he asked Sherry if she'd talked to Carl. She said she had and that he had mentioned something about taking care of the evidence against Keith, although she didn't understand him. Sherry then left the school and David met up with Carl, who denied any involvement with Ferragamo. After Carl left, David called Ferragamo's office to warn him of any future actions by the Latham group. ("10:00am-11:00am")
