* The map of the Americas begins as blank.
* Each user will represent a separate nation, colonising the New World. You can be any country within reason (i.e. not the Arabians because they are nowhere near.)
* Please be sensible. If your colonial empire gets too big too quickly, then your colonies shall be removed. Prior to 1700, they will simply be wiped off the map. After 1700, the colonies get independence and lose some territory to the natives. Same if you get idiotic and start building spaceships in 1700.
* Each user takes a turn for their nation. Each turn is two years. e.g. Britain begins settling Newfoundland in 1600, France begins settling Acadia in 1602, etc.
* You can declare independence if you want to make the USA but you aren'

* There is a save name convention. Take the year (can be abbreviated), and put colonies on the end. e.g. File:1600summcolonis.png
* Do try to write more than just France takes over this, Russia takes over that. Put some flavour in like alliances and stuff.
