The Queensboro Bridge (also known as 59th Street Bridge) is a double-decked cantilever bridge founded on March 30, 1909. It passes over Roosevelt Island and the East River. Primarily, it connects Queens' Long Island City to Manhattan between 59th and 60th Streets.
