| - == Career == Born in Brooklyn, NY, Otero and his family moved to West Haven, CT in 1989 where Otero called his home until 2008 when he moved to New Bedford, MA. A huge fan of international and domestic professional wrestling, Otero began training in late 2006 at the AWA-WSW Backbreakers Training Facility (Durham, CT) studying under Justyn Glory and Johnny Glitter. After 6 months of training, in April 2007, he made his professional wrestling debut in Pawcatuck, CT for AWA-WSW. His opponent that night was his training partner, Mikey Chase. The match came to a draw when both men's shoulders were counted by two refs. A rematch was signed from the AWA-WSW's next event in Durham, CT on July 28, 2007. Otero adapted the Brendan Michael Thomas character. BMT, for short, was known for his obnoxious amounts of pink wrestling attire and ever-growing afro. BMT was considered the stereotypical spoiled brat from California who got whatever his heart desired thanks to his parents. In the summer of 2007, BMT wrestled only his second match against Mikey Chase but this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match in the grand opening of the AWA-World Star Arena in Durham, CT. BMT entered the match with a fractured hand due to an incident during a training session the night before. Both men fought in a room that reached over 100 degrees until outside interference led to match being thrown out. It was at this time BMT and Mikey Chase made a pact and swore to rid AWA-WSW's of their attackers. The next month, BMT came to the ring in a neck brace stating he was unable to compete in his scheduled tag team match due to doctor's order. This left Mikey Chase in a handicapped match. It was during this match BMT ran out to the ring with a chair and turned on his newly found friend by blasting him in the head with a chair and hitting him with his signature moved, "The Trendsettah" (A Walking Brainbuster). Later that night, a third match between Mikey Chase and BMT was announced by AWA-WSW CEO, Johnny Glitter. It was announced that both men would meet in a Texas Bullrope Match at the next show. However, the match was canceled when BMT walked out on AWA-WSW citing several issues with management. After breaking away from AWA-WSW, BMT popped in PGW (Power and Glory Wrestling), where he challeneged Lukas Sharp to a match at PGW Battlefield: Fairfield 2007, and DPW (Defiant Pro Wrestling) where he formed an alliance with "The Portuguese Princess" Ariel. Since then, BMT has been competing for PGW in matches against Lukas Sharp, Andy Sweet, Eddy Latham, Kristian Frost and most recently in a mixed tag match, alongside Ariel, against Kristian Frost and Amber. At the next PGW show, The Last Resort in Bridgeport, BMT is slated to take apart of a 10 Man Survivor Elimination Tag Match. BMT also competed in singles and tag team action, with Ariel, in DPW until the company took a break from live events in March of 2008. In 2008, BMT showed up in NECW. He played a crazed Ariel fan who would obnoxiously cheer for her during her matches. He was known for making a scene and storming out of the building if Ariel lost her match. On March 9, 2008, at the WWW 2nd Anniversary Show, BMT entered the ring during the main event and superkicked the then WWW Champion, Lexxus, which helped Ariel capture the WWW Championship for the first time. It was learned, immediately following the match, that BMT was Ariel's agent and BMT vowed to rid Lexxus from Ariel's life. BMT continues to manage Ariel in NECW and even made his in ring debut at the 2008 Hot Dog Safari in East Boston, MA as apart of the NECW live event. BMT competed in the NECW Television Championship Tournament only to be eliminated in the first round by his opponent, Makoto.
