The inhabitants of the planet included Whobins, Haywards, Pepes, Hikkopens, Beddos, Ryn, Humans, and Sullustans. Many of the inhabitants were poor workers who lived in squalor in the Shanty Border. Odogoth, Basrin, and Deriac were once stranded on the planet when Janet ran out of fuel. They were conned into buying Hikkopen rump oil to refuel the ship. While on the planet, they became involved in corporate espionage between Alderaan Royal Engineers, Salliche Ag, and SoroSuub. Odogoth hired a family of twenty-two local Pepes to come work for him.
