The Committee for the Salvation of the Greater German Reich was the public face of the 2011 Putsch led by Reichsführer-SS Lothar Prützmann. In June, 2011, the Committee announced that due to an illness, Führer Heinz Buckliger and his wife Erna were detained at their retreat on Hvar. It then announced that Odilo Globocnik was now serving as interim Führer. The Committee then moved to quell dissent and protests, with limited success.
